The tights have a nice fit and are breathable, so you won't get too hot when you workout indoors or outdoors. However, keep in mind that in order to keep you warm when you work out outside, you must be active enough where your body will generate excessive The fact is that these do little to keep you warm if you wear them around the city on a cold day. I wear tights when I run in the winter because I am a winter runner. There is somewhat of a drab black running tights market for men that leads to largely dull looking and feeling tights. Under Armour's tights are great not only because they look cool (green with dark patterns on them), but also because they fit reliably and are comfortable. It is tough to design tights that are tight but also comfortable and easy to wear, and Under Armour has achieved this successfully.

In addition, the pants are snug so, if you wish to wear them on their own, you will probably want a shirt underneath to cover your back and sides. We found out that "Heat gear" is for cool weather and "Cool gear" is for hot If it were the other way around (heat gear would keep you warm, and cold gear would keep you cold), I would have thought it was the other way around. These would not be recommended if you want to wear them in cold weather. However, the quality is good and I'm sure they can fill a useful purpose in warmer climates.
