Ms. Susan, I'd like to greet you. Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. The keeper loop that holds the extra piece of strap is a little tight at first because it's new, but it will stretch to fit the strap over time.

IT WILL BE AWESOME FOR YOU! I've been wearing a very trendy and large but attractive Timex for the past two years, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. However, the date factor has been missing from my life. And now that I'm retired, I'm not sure what day it is some mornings: ) I couldn't find an affordable analog with the day and date that wasn't masculine and too big (I'm not sure why men have a greater right to know what day it is than women). lol) I was hesitant to get this type of watch because I was afraid it would be too masculine. DAY, on the other hand, is a good value for the money. DATE, as well as a keen eye for detail. chose to give it a shot. I absolutely adore it! I have a thin wrist, so my large, attractive watch was not very comfortable for me. This one is more comfortable and lighter than the previous one. It shouldn't be too big or too small, and it shouldn't be too thick either. The paper does not include instructions, but it does state that you should go to Timex. com/manuals is a website where you can find information about manuals. However, I called Timex's customer service number and spoke with a very pleasant and helpful representative who not only emailed me the instructions but also walked me through the process of setting up my watch. That's all there is to it once you've got it set up! I'm overjoyed, and LADIES, I'm overjoyed. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO MAKE A MISTAKE. take it seriously Dark lavender buttons contrast with a subtle purple. There was nothing obnoxious or loud about it! Now we'll see if it holds up as well as Timex has in the past. YAY : ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED - The manuals for this model were not available on the website. I called because I was curious. The representative stated that the model is newer and has not yet arrived on site.
To begin, I'd like to address all of the negative reviews by pointing out that the instructions are folded into a small rectangle and stuffed inside the plastic watch holder that comes in the box. I've had Timex watches for a long time and don't need instructions, but I recall that the last time I read them, they were fairly comprehensible. br>br>When buying a watch, I look for a few things. First and foremost, it must be waterproof because I swim, which necessitates the use of a sports watch. I require a digital interface, as well as knowledge of the day of the week, month, and date, as I am retired. A watch that lights up at night is something I strongly prefer. I've tried wearing fashion watches with my dresses but have been disappointed because I can't read the face in low light. As a result, I'm looking for a watch that can do a lot of things while also looking good. I'm not looking for a watch with a lot of buttons or one that looks military. I want a watch that looks like it belongs on a lady's wrist and that I can wear anywhere from the pool to a nightclub. I combed through pages and pages of watches on Amazon, but I couldn't find one that did everything I needed while also having the look I desired. This type of watch appears to be out of style, and is being replaced by sports watches that monitor your heart rate and perform a variety of other tasks. br>br>Finally, I came across this watch, which had everything I needed, so I purchased it. Now that I've got it, I'm really enjoying it. It has the unobtrusive appearance I'm looking for, as well as the superior functionality I require. In terms of battery life, I've had a lot of sports watches, and what happens is that the little circular strap holder that holds the end of the strap down breaks, causing the watch to unbuckle and fall off easily. Unfortunately, this necessitates the purchase of a new watch, which is unlikely to happen before the battery dies. This occurs after about two or three years of use; it's unfortunate, but it's the way things are. To try to repair the strap holder, I've tried a variety of glues and epoxies, but none of them seem to work. I keep the old watches on hand in case I need a watch with a broken strap in the future, but I recently disposed of a large number of them. br>br>Strongly suggested! br>br>.
The purchase was a great success. I have small wrists, so I usually have to buckle watches at the very last notch; however, with this one, I only have to go until the third to last notch, making it a good fit for smaller wrists. I've worn it to the gym and it's gotten a couple of black scuffs on it, but they wiped right off with rubbing or a wet paper towel. The instructions that came with it were not very helpful in terms of setting the watch, but it's very simple to do so using the watch's mode and set buttons. There aren't a lot of frills here. This watch is exactly what I was looking for: a large display with the date and time. A timer, a chronograph, and a single alarm are all included.
The watch has a lot of features that I enjoy. I was expecting it to be a little bigger, but it's just right; the chrome ring around the face almost blinds me when the light hits it just right. Setting the watch is simple, so don't believe the negative reviews that claim it's difficult. It took me exactly one minute to set everything up, including the alarms. It has a nice design and is simple to read. Love it!.
However. br>The watch didn't come with a user guide, which was frustrating because I couldn't figure out how to set or change modes without it. I had to locate my Amazon order in order to obtain the model number and access the manual online. Because Timex has so many watches, this took a long time. The steps/procedure for setting the modes were not intuitive to me, and the buttons were not sensitive at all, and would often not respond until I pressed them just right. The watch became a source of great frustration for me. I found the watch to be quite reliable once I got the modes set; However, I started swearing again when I needed to change a setting.
It's also waterproof, which is handy for when I forget to take it off in the shower (though I haven't tried deep diving with it). The fact that there is only one alarm is a major flaw in the design. Three alarms were standard on all other sporty models I've owned. Why is there only one alarm when this is the same technology but with a bigger screen? br>br>The second issue is that the wristband is easily filthy, and this shows up against the white of the screen portion. I don't know how to clean it, so I'm wearing a white clock with a gray wristband for now.
For more than two decades, I've worn Timex Ironman watches. This is the one that appeals to me the most! Despite my small wrists, I frequently buy men's watches because of the larger face (which allows me to read it quickly!). The face of this watch is easily visible, but the band is smaller than a typical men's watch. It appeals to my tastes.
