Questions & Answers

Is this, like the men's version, an automatic watch?

This isn't the one that comes up automatically.

Have any of you dived this watch in salt water to a depth of at least 33 feet, for those of you who own it? If that's the case, how's it been holding up?

The watch will work to that depth; I have a men's version that has been used in salt water; just make sure the screw down crown is tight to keep water out, and it keeps excellent time.

Is it possible that the figures are glowing? Do the hands have a luminous quality to them? Is it true that the markers are visible in the dark?

It illuminates from time to time, but only in a weak way. Not like a Timex, for example!

Could this be worn by a man who wants a watch with a lower profile?

You could, but it's definitely a women's watch; if you want something smaller, the men's quartz Pro Diver is 37. 5mm. I have a small wrist and would not wear a watch smaller than 36mm. In a really old vintage watch, it could be 32mm. However, because this watch is 25mm in diameter, it is clearly a women's watch, and I would not recommend it.

1st Review: THIS WATCH SUITS ME PERFECTLY! My father worked as a watchmaker and learned the trade from the ground up. From a young age, he taught us how to tell the time. This watch is perfect; I did remove two links at Zales because I'm picky about the structure of my watches and how they appear on my incredibly thin wrist. It's a little loose, and I'm debating whether or not to remove a third to make it more snug. It's made of heavy, stainless steel that's in excellent condition. Despite the fact that the time was already set, the date was incorrect, so I simply adjusted it with the dial. I'm back at home, though I miss my father. Thank you for a fantastic deal on a quality timepiece. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> So, I was out of town wearing my lovely watch, and as I was exiting a store, my watch became entangled in the door latch and fell off. I've gone to five jewelers, all of whom are unable or unwilling to order the single missing piece, as well as the tiny spring. The piece I'm looking for is the one that connects the rest of the pieces to the watch's frame. I won't be able to wear it until it is delivered. It would be wonderful if someone could get in touch with me about what I need to do.

I actually use a dive watch only for diving or dive trips, so this is a good dive watch for the money
3/5

I used to own this watch. lost it. It's a good dive watch, but if I had the chance, I'd make a few changes.
1. Women's watch faces should be larger than men's, but not as large as men's. which corresponds to the next size up Eyesight is not improved by smaller wrists. That's a complete load of nonsense. However, the face of the next size up is enormous. heavy.
2. Apart from having an o-ring, the best (but not necessarily the most expensive) dive watches have crowns that screw in to lock. ring to keep water out of the watch This crown is simply pushed in like a watch crown. That gives me the creeps. But it's a decent dive watch for the money. br>Every time I change the band, I use a Waterbourne continuous nylon band or something similar. (It's a pain, but it's well worth the effort. ) The following are some of the reasons for this: If you catch your watch on something with the bracelet band that comes on most watches, it will break. A pin has been lost. The watch is lost by you. You won't be able to catch it because it will drop through the water column. If you lose a pin on a continuous band, your watch will dangle from the other pin but will not be lost, which has happened to me on several occasions while donning my dive gear. Your watch is clearly swaying on your wrist. understand how to get rid of it The pin should be replaced. In my repair kit, I also keep a spare pin. (I misplaced my watch, not because I misplaced a pin, but because I stuffed it into the pocket of my shorts. ) It had to have slipped out at some point in the future. I took my phone out of my pocket. )br>Of course, I'd buy this watch again if I didn't have a better option. br>br>UPDATE: There was a mist of moisture inside the watch's face after only eight dives. When I got home from my trip, I took the stem out like I was going to set the time to let the moisture out. The majority of the moisture had evaporated after three days. br>I would not purchase this watch in the future.

Keep an eye on the return policy
3/5

When my Fossil watch died after 12 years of service, my husband bought this watch for me. The watch functioned perfectly at first! After about 4 months, the watch would stop working on its own. I thought it was the battery, but a jeweler checked it and said it was fine; unfortunately, it was after the Amazon return deadline, but the watch is covered by Invicta's 3-year full warranty, so I wasn't concerned. When I looked at their return policy, I saw that I'd have to send the product back to them along with a $28 payment. I couldn't believe that a payment was required to repair a defective product that was still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Most watch companies, such as Fossil, do not charge a fee to look at a watch and will provide you with a free shipping label if you decide to buy one. The best part is that the watch is only $37 right now. Why would I pay $28 plus shipping to have a broken watch repaired when I could buy a new one for the same price on Amazon? A customer has recently left Invicta.

I was disappointed
3/5

I bought this watch because I wash my hands several times a day at work. Water resistance is claimed to be up to 100 feet with this watch. Before the condensation circle appeared, I had about a month and a half of use out of it. It's impossible for me to get rid of. Very let down.

Something that will fit my small hands and wrists! Since I can't use my phone while driving, I've been on the lookout for a watch
5/5

To one woman's "dive" watch, there are probably 300 of them. An analog watch with a date was something I was looking for. There's nothing fancy about it; it's just a sturdy way to read in the dark. Although it is labeled as "water resistant," I would not use it in the pool or shower. I'd use it for farm work, cleaning, or gardening. It's been subjected to a lot of abuse in the short time I've had it, and it still looks and runs great. I only wish it had been given to me as a surprise.

Be cautious when purchasing something online
3/5

I ordered one, but had to return it because the stem wouldn't screw back in after setting the time and date. The second watch is the same way. When I called, there was no one available to assist me. I really like how this watch looks and feels. It's not as large as some, but I needed a water-resistant watch for working outside, playing with dogs in the water, and other activities. I wish it had worked.

It looked great, but it wasn't functional
3/5

I was relieved to discover what I expected to be a small, straightforward project. read more about women's scuba diving watches This one looked promising, but when I took it out of the box to set the time, the crown kept pulling out no matter how hard I tried to screw it down, so it couldn't be used underwater. Returning it, but not being able to replace it for the same price makes me unhappy.

It was much smaller than I had anticipated
4/5

I purchased this watch because I am a big fan of Fossil watches and wanted to give it a try. I'm a swimmer, so I needed a waterproof watch that I wouldn't have to remember to remove before entering the pool. This is how I've sunk a lot of watches. The watch appeals to me. br>br> I have a small wrist, and it fits perfectly without the need for any links to be removed. I wasn't expecting the watch to be as small as it is. The watch's entire dial is about the size of a nickel, which I like because I can dress it up or down depending on whether I'm wearing scrubs or not. br>br>It's water resistant and works well in the shower and pool. I'm not a diver, so I can't say whether or not this is a dive watch, but it works well in the water for my swimming.
