Questions & Answers
Thank you very much for contacting Timex with your inquiry. So long as the lug width is compatible. Although it is ideal to change the band to match the model, you can always personalize your watch.
I really like the watch. I am a watch collector, but I also enjoy low-cost watches. This watch is easy to put on and hasn't gotten dirty yet.
Face also brightens up.
That was hilarious. I'd never considered it before, and I always record spoken-word performances. I work in audio for a living and am prone to picking up on stray noises. I did hear it when I put my ear to the watch (which I wear most days), but I don't hear it in my daily life (or on the audio files I edit). I don't put it on in the evenings - As a result, I'm unable to say whether it would be audible in a completely silent room.
Selected User Reviews For Timex Ironman Essential Urban Analog 38mm Watch
I wanted a true beater watch for fitness, work, around the house, swimming, and other activities, but I also wanted analog because I'm not a fan of digital watches. I looked at a lot of different models before settling on this one. The issue was that the men's version was larger than 40mm, and I stick to a strict 40mm watch limit. Even if their wrists can handle it (I have a 7" wrist), I know many men who dislike the trend of large watches. Fortunately, there was a black option in the "womens" section that looked masculine enough for me. br>br>I made a wise decision. This timepiece is extremely light. I like the band, and I like Indiglo watches, and I wish there were more watches with backlighting. The 38mm is fine, and it confirms that the larger men's version would have appeared oversized in my opinion. br>br>I personally wear this as a beater at home after work. According to the reviews, this can be worn anywhere, including to work. - and that is a matter of personal preference and taste. Personally, I'd only wear it as a sporty/athletic outfit. br>br>Overall, this $40 watch is a great beater. I have a Weekender and a Q Reissue from Timex, and they are both excellent.
The watch is perfect for me. I'd had it in my cart for a while when I noticed the price had dropped. I bought it right away because it was a good deal. It is functional and appealing. I work in EMS, and there are times when I need to keep track of the time, and a cell phone is simply not appropriate or practical. This is a watch that I would strongly recommend.
I had been looking for an analog watch with a second hand, a light, and that wasn't too ugly. That does not appear to be a long distance. fetched, despite the fact that I had searched locally for months without success. I was overjoyed when I discovered this on the internet. (I suppose I'd be happier if it cleaned my house and worked for me, but that's a stretch. ) fetched). Every day, I submerge the watch in water, and it doesn't seem to make a difference. It's supposed to be a water-based substance. 100 meter water resistance! When determining a patient's pulse or respiratory rate, the essential second hand is easy to read. I'm ashamed to admit it, but I had no idea the watch had a light-up feature. up until my 2-hour mark on the watch dial The feature was discovered by my year-old granddaughter, who was amused. Every night since then, I've been using the Indiglo light. The watch is comfortable and long-lasting thanks to the soft silicone rubber strap. Last but not least, the color! This lady isn't interested in boring black and white! Overall, it was an excellent investment. You're not going to be let down.
I take this watch with me wherever I go. It's simple to clean, comfortable to wear, and still works well as a watch. I think analogue watches are more appealing, and they go better with business attire. This watch appears to have everything I'm looking for in a timepiece. I have small wrists as well, so I believe this watch is ideal for me.
Because the outdoor pool at my building lacks a clock, I needed a water-resistant watch. . . and this was it! br>br>Easy to read (except for the second hand) without glasses, simple to set up (just set the current time) and still works in the water. (The many digital watches seemed overly complicated when all I wanted to do was time myself. )br>br> I've used it for several swim and aqua exercise sessions now, and I'm very pleased with my purchase. It's amazing how well electronics work in the water. br>Highly recommended.
The doorbell was rang by the delivery truck driver (a nice touch). On our porch, I discovered my Amazon packages. One of the boxes contained a Timex watch. It arrived in working order; the time needed to be adjusted, but otherwise it was ready to use. This bracelet will fit any wrist size. I checked it in the dark and it's indiglo. I'll wear this watch on safari because the bush camps are dark, and I'll be able to see the time clearly. This is a watch I would recommend. I'm hoping this watch, like my other Timex watches, will last a long time.
First and foremost, because of the harsh environment in which I work, I do not purchase expensive watches. This watch has been with me since last summer and has yet to let me down. A week later, I had to replace the battery that came with it, but that was it. It keeps excellent time, and I wear it while swimming on a regular basis, so yes, it is waterproof. Because I don't want to wear a clock on my wrist, I chose the smaller face, which is the perfect size, including thickness. I'm glad I bought it, and I'd buy another if the situation called for it.
Water is not an option. tenacious Second- A person's hand was severed. My digital Ironman, which I wore for 15 years while participating in sports until it died, was one of my favorites. I prefer analog watches, so I chose the analog Ironman, expecting the same level of quality and durability, but I was sorely disappointed. Moisture got into my face while swimming in an 8-foot pool, and it would evaporate and condense onto the watch's lens whenever I wore it. They sent me a new one after I returned it. After nine months, the second-place finisher was announced. A person's hand was severed. I've run out of time to return this, and Timex is imposing a repair fee on me. I just want a new digital Ironman so I don't have to deal with the headaches that come with this flimsy timepiece.
