After downloading the GShock app, the watch was quickly paired. It has Bluetooth and a step counter, which I really like. It's a little bulky at first, but after a couple of days, you'll get used to it. I haven't taken mine off in nearly two months. No problems getting in and out of the pool or the lake; white backlight for nighttime use; hands glow a little but are difficult to read if you don't have good vision. In general, I'm very happy.
I did, in fact, purchase this G- I tried both the shock and the Baby G to see which one I liked best, and I chose this one simply because of the companion app. It makes setting the watch and using the various functions a breeze. Although the Baby G has a smaller profile, it fits well and does not appear to be too bulky. I have a tiny wrist, and the band fits perfectly with one hole left over! I used this watch while scuba diving and it performed admirably. The pedometer feature is one of my favorites.
It has a hole, and the watch box appears to have been opened or manipulated, but the watch was not sustarcted fortunately.
It's fantastic, it's fantastic, it's fantastic, it's fantastic, I adore it; I adore it; I adore it; I adore it; I adore.
I forgot to take off my watch when I took a bath. Oops.
