Casio isn't a company based in the United States. There aren't any G-rated games that I'm aware of. Made in the United States of America shocks Anywhere else, with the exception of Casio's own website, that claims otherwise is untrustworthy. Most G- Thailand, Malaysia, and China are the countries that produce shocks.
It does not have a large or broad case diameter. This is not the watch for you if you like big watches, at least not big enough for a 6'5" man with large wrists. It's of average size, in my opinion.
Your watch should/will look exactly like the one pictured, as shown in the photo.
No, I have a small wrist and it works perfectly for me.

It can take a lot of abuse. Wearing this watch will help you to become a better man. This watch is called the Mudman for a reason: when you put it on, you will grow a beard right away. Any slop you throw at it will simply bounce off of it and onto less expensive timepieces. br>br>Many reviewers have complained about how difficult it is to press the buttons. This is even considered a negative by some reviewers. Is that true? If you can't press a small button on a watch, you're probably too frail to wear it. Return to your soap operas, if you haven't done so already. The buttons appear to be of good quality. They're designed to withstand the punishment that this watch will face. Yes, they take a little more effort, but I was able to set the time correctly in a matter of minutes, and my fingers are now a little stronger. Despite the fact that I've only had this watch for a few days, I've already fallen in love with it. It's a big bracelet, but it's not too heavy on my wrist. When I wear this watch, it has a solid feel to it. I also like that it's water resistant (scuba diving approved!). ), as well as mud and vibration resistance! I prefer items that are built to last, and I have no intention of purchasing another watch after this one. br>br>As time goes on, I'll attempt to update this review.
br>br>I've experimented with a number of G- I like market shocks, but they're always too big and unwieldy for me. Several times, I wished aloud that I could locate a G-. shock with a classic rugged look on a smaller, regular sized watch scale This is the solution to your problem.
I bought it because I figured a watch designed for the rigors of motocross racing would stand a good chance of lasting on my wrist with the type of work I do. Not once did I feel let down. br>br>As an archaeology field tech in Colorado, I wore it to work every day for eight months of intense, bone-jarring, rock-breaking excavation, and this watch outlasted me. Day after day, six-hour digs through hard ground pound Fiskers shovels (great shovels, by the way; only a few were broken) and breaking through cobblestones and bedrock with sixteen-pound Fiskers shovels I ended the season with trigger finger in my right hand pinky and carpel tunnel in both hands, but this watch has hardly a scratch on it and keeps time as accurately as any other quartz movement watch. I reset the time to an atomic clock after eight months because it was 30 to 45 seconds off. Given the significant amount of impact and vibration this watch was subjected to on a daily basis during the field season, this isn't bad. Casio G- is a product that I wholeheartedly recommend. For this reason, Shock is now keeping a close eye on the situation. It also worked fine in temperatures ranging from the mid-teens to the upper-ninties (and higher because it was frequently in direct sunlight), and I'm sure it can withstand even more extremes. There are no cracks, and only the tiniest dents and discoloration serve as a reminder of where I tightened it. br>br>I have no major complaints about the watch's operation or features. The watch is a little big, but it's not too big. It's just bigger than the other watches I have (almost all of which are analog and therefore smaller). The watch's face is easy to read in any light, and the dual illuminator works well in low light. It's convenient to have the time, date, and day all on the same screen. I'll admit that I haven't used the other features much, with the exception of the stopwatch, which I use sparingly when doing paperwork in the midday July heat. Because I'm used to analog watches, I don't see the point in using alarms or other features, so I haven't tried them out. The world time feature would be useful if I were traveling between time zones, but all of my work this year was local, so I'll have to save it for next year. The buttons are a little difficult to press at first, but your fingers will get sore and you'll adjust; such is the price you pay for a watch that effectively keeps the elements out of its inner workings. br>br>In terms of appearance, this isn't something I'd wear with a suit or on a weekend outing. the- That said, as far as digital watches go, it's a handsome timepiece that looks right at home with rugged outdoor attire. Construction workers, intended motocross and extreme sports enthusiasts, military personnel (24 hour time and mute are just a few button presses away! ), and others would all benefit from this watch. br>br>I would recommend this watch to many people, including construction workers, intended motocross and extreme sports enthusiasts, and military personnel (24 hour time and mute are just a few button presses away!). ), fellow archaeologists, Rambo, skin divers (I can't speak to its efficacy for deep dives, but I'm sure it's pretty good), mountaineers, professional athletes, law enforcement, ninjas, and anyone else looking for a really tough, low-cost watch to strap to their wrist. br>br>*Edit 3/20/2021: I've had this watch for four years and wanted to update my review with new information and pictures. This timepiece continues to perform admirably. I've worn it hiking at high altitudes in the mountains, digging in Louisiana swamps, swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, working in the scorching heat of summer in East Texas, and more. It's been through torrential rain, extreme heat and cold, collisions, abrasions, falls, and a lot of mud and dirt, and it still works as well as the day I bought it. I simply put it on in the shower and allow it to clean up after me. Rinse and repeat until you've exhausted all of your options. br>It did get a scratch on the glass, but who cares? After a year of wear in much less demanding circumstances, most watches get at least a few scratches, much less after four years as an outdoor work watch. As I stated in my original review, I have yet to experience any cracking or breaking of the band. Even after all these years, the original battery continues to perform admirably. Finally, I added a compass to the band because having a compass handy in the wilderness is useful, and it also looks cool. br>I still think G- is a fantastic choice. Watches with a shock.
This replaces my g2900, which was still working after 8 years, but for some reason kept breaking watch pins. For a dial size comparison, it's shown next to a Casio duro. br>br>Things I enjoy:br>br>1. In the last month, I've only lost one second.
2. There are no unnecessary circles or doodads on the display, and there is no wasted space. br>3. The design appeals to me on a visual level; It appears to be of a high standard. (The dual illumination is a nice touch as well. )br>4. The way the strap sits on my wrist, as well as the small rubber feet under the dial, keep the watch from rotating. br>5. Its footprint is considerably smaller than that of many g shocks. (The dial is thinner and smaller in diameter. ) So long sleeve shirts aren't an issue, and it doesn't get in the way when I'm reaching into a backpack.
6. It isn't an unsightly smartwatch that needs to be charged every few days. Things I don't care for:br>1. The strap is unique, so if there's a problem with it later on, it won't be as simple to fix. (Hopefully, this will be the case. )br>2. For some reason, it appears to be a little smaller. I'm not sure why this happens, but it does. And it's not that small; it's more like average size; however, it could be an illusion or just me. br>br>I think this is a fantastic watch in general. If you're thinking about getting it, you should go ahead and do so. It's not perfect, but it's the best g shock I've ever owned.
