I'm replacing a cheap Nixon surf watch that loses time every other day. I dislike wearing a large watch because it obstructs my vision. I prefer low-profile, but because my eyesight isn't great and I wear reading glasses, I went with digital. Even in direct sunlight, I can read the time without glasses because the display is large and easy to read. I have very thin wrists, and with only three notches left, it's pretty tight. But there are a total of 9 notches, so it will fit any wrist size. I had to look up how to set it on the internet, and after 15 minutes of trial and error, I got it right. There are many features, such as an alarm clock and a stop watch, but I could never remember which buttons to press to access the other "modes" where I could use those features. I'd have to keep a cheat sheet on my person! But the time was the most important feature for me, and the day/date function is also useful. The band is strong, but it's also very soft. It appears to be in good condition. For the money, this is a fantastic watch!.
Since 2012, I have been the owner of this business. Since 2012, I've been the proud owner of an Armitron Sport Women's S 45/7030. Only a few weeks ago, I was forced to buy a new watch because the band on my old one began to wear out. I can honestly say that they are long-lasting, waterproof, and heatproof, and that they can withstand the rigors of an active lifestyle while still keeping time. Take, for example, the current watch movement and dial (? ) is still functional, but the band attached to it has finally broken and is not replaceable, which is why I had to replace it. The packaging was the only difference in the new replacement watch that I noticed. My original came in a metal container (which I now use to store paperclips) and required you to set the current date and time, whereas the new 2018 replacement came in a cardboard box but was already set to the current date and time. It's simple to find a date. Aside from that, the watch size and band are perfect for my small wrist; it's lightweight, super comfortable, can withstand a lot of banging and knocking around without losing time or becoming scratched, and best of all. . . it's entertaining. It's stylish enough for the office and for fun. It's also made of non-toxic plastic. It's non-toxic, so it doesn't irritate my skin when I wear it for long periods of time; it's a great deal for the price and quality.
This watch has a very solid construction. It has a metal clasp and a solid, heavy case, giving it the feel of a high-end timepiece. It is lacking in terms of features. The countdown timer is useful, but if you stop it in the middle of the countdown, it will be reset. There's no easy way to get it back to the original time; you'll have to go through the time-setting process all over again. Setting the time, whether on the countdown timer or the clock itself, is a hassle as well. There's only one button to press, and it only increments; there's no way to go backwards. In addition, the watch emits a beep with each button press. This is extremely inconvenient because there is no way to turn it off.
This was part of a set of four watches I bought for my wife for Christmas. Because she couldn't figure out how to change the time setting, I deducted a star. She isn't the most technically savvy individual. I was able to set the time without reading the instructions (if the watch even came with instructions, I'm not sure) and she liked this watch because of its small size. br>br>Of the four watches, one was far too bulky/large. Another had more features, but she didn't like having to keep pressing it to see the time, and the battery didn't last very long. This was the next watch to arrive, and as I previously stated, she liked it. The last watch arrived after Christmas, but she seems to prefer it because of its extensive features. The rechargeable battery is good for about a week of use. br>br>In conclusion, of the four watches I purchased, this is her second favorite.
In February 2020, the group disintegrated. Now I understand that this is a low-cost watch, and that "you get what you pay for" - My daughter, on the other hand, had one similar to it for a year and when it broke down, she desperately wanted another one. In late October, I purchased a second one to replace the first, fully expecting to need to purchase another one at some point in the future. The future arrived yesterday, four months after it was purchased. She was sitting in class when it suddenly fell off her wrist; the clasp on the band had completely broken off and was unrepairable. She wasn't doing any sports; she was simply sitting. It's not the money that bothers me; it's the inconvenient situation and my child's complete disappointment. Check your quality; at that price point, it doesn't have to last forever, but 4 months isn't acceptable.
I like that it's waterproof, and that when the strap on my previous watch broke, I was able to replace it with the same watch I had. I have very small wrists, so finding watches that fit without having to remove links is difficult. The adjustable band, unlike metal bands, fits me perfectly on the tightest notch and is easy to keep clean. The entire watch is waterproof, including the strap, which is extremely important to me because I NEVER TAKE MY WATCH OFF, not even to bathe, wash dishes, wash my hands, or swim. I always want to know the exact time so that I don't get behind schedule. br>br>My aging eyes benefit from the large, easy-to-read digital display. The lighted display is the only thing with which I am not 100% satisfied with. Because the lighted display is aqua in color and dimly lit, it's difficult to read. But that's a minor quibble because I always keep a bright, readable clock nearby when I'm in a dimly lit environment.
I've been looking for a weekend watch for a while but haven't been able to find one with enough pink to not look like a toy watch. Found it! When I placed my order, I was concerned about two things: Would it be TOO pink (little girl pink) and would the strap be long enough for my wrist? The sizing is listed as "woman's standard," which I've found ranges from 6" to 9" in length. Because I have a large wrist, the bands either strangle me or fall off. This is sized to fit all of these sizes while not being too large. The band has a nice little "bump" on it that keeps the strap from readjusting itself and keeps it in place regardless of the size you choose. br>br>As I previously stated, I was looking for a "weekend" timepiece. But it's now my go-to timepiece for work. Just a little something to pass the time. The color, fit, and cost were all exactly what I was looking for. Today I'm going to place an order for the purple one. I strongly advise you to do so.
