When my son plays baseball, he prefers to wear Rawlings sunglasses. He plays high school and travel baseball, and he had a great pair of Rawlings sunglasses that he had for years but had recently lost, so he chose these men's sunglasses, which are not what we expected. They're flimsy and light, and they're not particularly durable for baseball. Maybe they'd be fine if you just wore them and didn't use them during a game, but I don't think they'd stand up to the rigors of a baseball season. I returned these in order to replace them with a more durable pair. br>br>The seller did an excellent job of getting them to us in a timely manner. It just wasn't the kind of baseball sunglasses he was looking for.
You can't go wrong with any Rawlings product. For baseball, the field of vision is excellent and clear, allowing you to see those hard-hit line drives or high-flying pop-ups. They've lasted a full season (50 games) and still look brand new. They're stylish, but they're also ideal for those hot summer afternoons when you need to see the ball clearly. There is no glare.
They're good, but not outstanding. Rawlings is etched in the bottom of the left eye for playing baseball in. It's a bit of a distraction hitting because the field of vision isn't completely clear. It is less noticeable in other situations where your field of vision is generally straight ahead.
The glass in one of the eye sockets, however, had popped out. They have a couple of smudges and scratches. I'd say it's pretty good for the price.
Unfortunately, they were broken when I received them. Because the frame support is so small, I'm sure they'll snap soon. The color of the lens is unusual, as it is green in the middle and blue on the outside; if you look to the side, one eye sees blue and the other sees green.
I really like the sunglasses, which is why I gave it a five-star rating. I've had these sunglasses for a few months now, and they're fantastic. They are comfortable to wear and do not fall off your face. However, the arm-to-frame screw came loose a few weeks ago. So I try to tighten it again, but it won't budge. I'm not sure if they're supposed to tighten up the back or not. However, the arm eventually fell off, and I was unable to locate the missing screw. So I'd like to put them on, but I won't be able to do so. Rawlings sunglasses are something I've owned in the past, and they're great. They don't seem to have any warranty, to be honest. But, hey, it's a small price to pay. However, it was a good purchase.
I don't want to spend a lot of money on glasses that he'll lose or break, but he'll need them while playing centerfield. This is fantastic!.
Priced lower than Sports Authority but lasting the same amount of time. We participate in travel, recreational, and fall ball games. It was there for the entire season. It was the perfect fit for my 9-year-old son's head.
