The lens has a resolution of 580 P. Costa's finest work. It's not glass, but polycarbonate (a type of plastic). The glasses are excellent and well worth the money.
Polarized glass lenses are used in the 580G model.
If they're in the $250-$300 range, they're a bargain. If they're $300, you can be sure they're made of glass. If they're in the $150-$200 range, they're a good investment. The plastic lens is in the $189 range.
They aren't spring-loaded, to be sure.

In the $200 range. They've got a lot of power. There are a variety of pairs to choose from in order to achieve any desired look. Without a doubt, you'll find proper form, fit, and function. br>At Costa, they KNOW how to properly fit the frames to your face so that they don't slip off during exercise or sweat. The hybrid materials are extremely lightweight, flexible, and durable. However, after that - Let us take a look at those spectacles. br>There are a lot of coating options to choose from. "UV filtering, haze reduction, glare reduction, and scratch resistance" - to put it another way. doesn't do them justice!br>About ten years ago, I decided to invest in a set of Costa Del Mar frames; Blue Mirror glass lenses with a 580 coating adorn the frame - purely for the purpose of fishing from my Hydra- Sports, with a view of the bay. br>br>I reasoned that the best lenses could only be found "in glass. " As a result, I purchased the 580gs. That pair is still in my possession, and they are just as lovely as they were on the first day. br>br>However, just last week, I came across these - on Amazon. com - and imagined what fantastic lightweight "drivers" they'd be if they got 580s again - The polycarbonate is the only place where you can find it! And I was dead on! br>br>These are the cutest colors I have! But there was another thing I discovered - My other pair has superior clarity, filtering, and overall quality - the lenses are made of glass - is additionally present - 100% - Only these are lighter than the 580p lenses! br>br>Whether you like this frame style as much as I do or prefer something different - Don't be afraid to get your hands on some polycarbs! Stunning lenses in both materials - The polycarb set, on the other hand, is so light that you may forget you're wearing sunglasses!.
Great pair of glasses. I bought the exact same Fathom 580Gs from a Costas store in a local mall about three years ago, and I absolutely love them. I had been rough with them, and the glass was pitting as a result of several drops on hard surfaces, so I needed to replace them. They were $100 more than these when I priced them at the same store where I bought my old ones. At this price, I was skeptical that these Costas were genuine, but I figured I could return them if they were fakes. They're the real deal, to be sure. In every way, they're identical to my previous ones. They arrived quickly, complete with a black Costa logo case, cleaning cloth, and all necessary paperwork. For genuine Costas, this is an excellent deal. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat.
A few years ago, I lost a lovely pair of Costas in the lake; I'm not sure what model of frame it was. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on another pair of high-quality fishing glasses, so I found these Fathoms for a great price! I've never used a green/blue tint lens in a high-quality frame before, but the green tint is much more useful on cloudy days. Because of the green tint, I can see fishing structure and cover on shaded banks with incredible clarity. With the green tint lenses, I've also noticed a reduction in eye strain. At a fantastic price, you get a great product.
3 pairs of Fathoms from Costa del Mar for 3 children ages 6, 8, and 12. There are 15 of them, and they're all perfect. These are the glasses that my children actually want to put on. If you're looking for smaller, less bulky frames, these Costas might be the ones for you. Costa sunglasses come highly recommended by me. Although we've only tried the 580P and 580G, my family owns 11 pairs and hasn't been disappointed with any of them.
For years, I've been purchasing these glasses for my husband. I've found the best deal yet!.
The quality is excellent, and it is desperately needed. These glasses are absolutely stunning. For me, anyone selling genuine costas is a lifesaver! Also, it's a lot less expensive than buying it in a store. There are no words to describe how clear and visible everything is.
These were purchased to replace my 15-year-old Fathoms, which are still functional but require semi-annual maintenance. retired.
I used to have these shades and had lost them while fishing years ago, thinking I'd never be able to find them again! Thanks to Amazon, I was able to locate my favorite sunglasses once more, and I no longer have to worry about them scratching and requiring replacement after two years of scratched lenses.
