Selected User Reviews For J+S Ultra Lightweight Men's Rimless Sports Sunglasses, Polarized, 100% UV protection
Before these sunglasses, I had never owned a pair of sunglasses. I wanted to find a good pair of sunglasses that weren't too expensive now that I could finally wear them. Other options were available, but they were either too expensive or didn't offer UV protection. My main criteria for buying a pair of sunglasses were that they weren't too expensive, that they provided UV protection, that they were comfortable and durable, and that they weren't too flashy. br>br> I've been wearing these sunglasses for a week and I'm very pleased with them. I was apprehensive about buying these sunglasses at first. When it comes to purchasing products, I usually opt for a product with more reviews and a more well-known brand. When I bought this product, it cost $15 USD. When I first saw these glasses online, they appeared to be very professional. br>br> As soon as I opened the box and put them on, I had my wife take pictures of me wearing them. I noticed the frames were made of a fairly sturdy metal as I removed them from the packaging material. And the nosepieces are made of a rubber that has a good grip and keeps the glasses from sliding off my face. The same material appears to be used on the part that rests on my ears, giving them a nice but not overpowering grip. br>br>In general, I'm pleased with these sunglasses. I was hesitant at first, but now I wear them wherever I can. I'll update this review if anything happens to change my mind or if I come across any new information. This product is currently deserving of a five-star rating because it does exactly what I need it to do and I use it frequently. They come highly recommended from me!.
I bought three.
CONS: Neither "Ultra Lightweight" nor "Rimless" applies to this product. The zippers in two of the three cases did not zip or unzip properly. The seller has an issue with quality control. J S should not use the terms "Ultra Lightweight" or "Rimless" to describe these. They could describe themselves as "lightweight" and "semi-rigid," in my opinion. Rimless".
PROS: br>Sunglasses appear to be of high quality and durable construction. When looking at glare on other vehicles' sunlit windows, the view is sufficiently darker with the glasses on, leaning more towards a gray/blue color. It certainly reduces glare, so I assume it provides UV protection. Spring hinges are used to hold the frames together. They're wide enough, and the silicone nose pads can be bent to make them fit better. br>To summarize: br>I have no plans to return these, but I thought I'd share my thoughts with other potential buyers. I'm hoping they'll be around for a long time.
Boating is a breeze. I'm a boat captain, so I'm picky about sunglasses, but I can't afford to lose or break $200 name brands on the job. I'm also in need of extras. They must be comfortable, polarized, and a darker grey than what is commonly available in stores (plastic lenses seem to have this issue). They must also be wrap-able in some way. to keep glare from the sides and below at bay. I've been ordering sunglasses from Amazon for the past six years, but they're no longer available. In addition, when I was playing tennis in Florida during the summer, I discovered that the wrap-around Sweat causes the insides of the glasses to fog up. I bought these for tennis and put them aside because they weren't wrap-around. arounds. When I went to pick them up for tennis, I discovered that they were metal frames that I could bend into wrap-around shapes. arounds, can spread the nose clips to lower the lenses on my face, and can bend the ear "hooks" to fit my head Wow. High-quality, adjustable, and comfortable.
These things are light, but that is their only advantage, and it does not outweigh the disadvantages. Because the nose piece is so low on the frame, these glasses barely cover your eyes. They also take up a lot of space in front of your face. They don't obstruct the sun's rays in any way. These "sunglasses" are more akin to a small children's toy. I don't think $2 is a good investment. These things will cost you 00. They serve no purpose at all. I'm not sure who wrote all the positive reviews, but I'm sure they were compensated.
Aviator glasses aren't the only way to go. They're polarized as well as UV protected. But it's the fact that I can adjust the nose piece that I really like. Sunglasses end up sitting on my cheeks and are tight on my temples because I have a wide face and a small nose. It's even better now that the nosepieces can be adjusted. They're also not too tight around the temples. (The only previous pair of sunglasses I had that weren't too tight were Aviator sunglasses. ) ) They're also very light. Is there anything else you could want? In my Ford car's overhead sunglasses compartment, it fit perfectly. When I take them off, they also don't catch in my hair.
Like Charlie Brown, I have a round, fat head. But, in the end, I was able to locate sun glasses that did not charge a premium for my, uh, problem. br>br>The fit is extremely light and comfortable. The hinges appear to be in good working order. What a bargain! br>br>If I had to pick a flaw, the lenses are quite dark, and the polarization appears to be a little off. All of my previous polarized glasses filtered vertically, but these appear to be horizontal. You'll only notice it if you use your phone or computer, and it could be a useful feature. I can use my phone's GPS without having to mount it sideways. Keep up the good work, J S!.
I ask my grandkids what they think when I put them on for the first time. Do you think they're cool or not? They're all attracted to my appearance. That's how I figure out whether or not they'll be worn, lol. The two nose rests needed to be adjusted as well. They were putting the glasses on too high of a pedestal. It only took a couple of seconds, and there you have it! I adjusted it and it now fits perfectly. My entire life has revolved around the sun To ensure that the glasses I buy are polarized, I compare them to a pair of glasses I already own. If the view turns black when you swivel the glasses, you know they're polarized. That's what I did, and they're definitely polarized now.
These aren't particularly high-quality items. end glasses, but they're in good condition. made, and they are polarized well. I drive with them and use them to get around town. It was well worth the money, and I won't feel bad about replacing them if I lose them.
