Can you tell me the shaft size?

When you look at horn to horn distance, what do you see? Is there a size of shaft it will How long is the mounting shaft and how wide is that diameter? Why are they made of this material?

There is a 1 1/4 inch distance between "horns", although it will accept about 1 1/2" if you can feed it fully through, and a 1/2" shaft which is 2 3/4 inches long, and cast brass

Oarlocks that look good and are sturdy

The product is very stable and looks very good. However, as I would have expected the shank to be longer on small oarlocks, it didn't work for me. Otherwise, it should serve most applications perfectly. The first thing I thought when I saw them was that I pray they won't end up on the bottom of the lake since they look great.
