An oar to be reckoned with

While anchored, I use the oar to turn my boat and in case of an emergency, I use it as a back-up. I used to use an oar but it broke a few years ago. It is the oar I have been using for a long time. As a precaution, I bought a second oar so that two paddlers can go if needed. I am impressed by the strength of this oar.
