I'm not sure where it's made, but it's shoddy workmanship, and I wouldn't take it anywhere without patches, a couple of good pumps, and another passenger who could pump while someone else drove. I attempted to return it 45 to 60 days after receiving it, but Amazon and the inflatable boat company said the time limit had expired. That was definitely an "eye-opener." Amazon's "opener"
Yes, you can take out the air floor board.
Tender, inflatable boat, fishing boat, and premium dinghy
The air floor is an inflatable floor board that inflates to a pressure of 8 pounds per square inch. It deflates and rolls up with the dinghy, using the same drop stitch design and material as an inflatable stand up paddle board. The dolphin 8 and the aluminum floor model are identical in size. The only difference between an 8' air floor and an 8' air floor is that the aluminum floor inserts take three times the amount of space. It will only take you 5 minutes to enter. It does not roll up with the dinghy and must be stored separately. I hope this information is useful. DOLPHIN I looked at a lot of inflatables in this price range. We have a labrador retriever and needed an inflatable boat that would store easily on our Hunter 36 and get us to the shore quickly, so we weighed the pros and cons of many models, including construction, cost, and features. The Dolphin 8 is my choice. While I won't be able to get the boat in the water for months because our Hunter is winterized, I decided to take a look at the Dolphin in my basement. The size and weight were exactly what you'd expect from a high-quality, long-lasting inflatable. It was a breeze to unpack. I was pleasantly surprised that, even with the separate inflation chambers (which I think is a great feature), I was able to fully inflate the boat in about 10 minutes with minimal effort; seat insertion and oar lock were also simple. I was impressed with the inflatable keel size and anticipate that it will allow the boat to track well and riders to be comfortable. The inflatable floor appears to be extremely sturdy. To protect ourselves from the dog's claws, we're going to lay some indoor/outdoor carpet. The inflation adaptor, in my opinion, is the only flaw. I'll look for a spare adaptor as a precautionary measure to ensure that I'm not forced to inflate by other means. I'm really looking forward to getting this boat out on the water.
Considering how small it is, it appears to work well. With about 400 lbs of passengers and gear, I was able to get this air floor Dolphin up on the plane. It seems. It's a little squirmy, but it doesn't have a proper keel (it's an air keel), and I'm still learning to drive. The graphics ink bled onto other parts of the dingy, leaving stray ink marks as the only minor issue. However, this is a minor flaw. Others would benefit from it, in my opinion.
It's simple to put together and dismantle, and it floats very well. We've fitted it with a 55lb thrust trolling motor and are using it as a tender for our 27' trawler. This is a fantastic pairing. When I contacted customer service about a hump in the air floor, Eric offered a helpful suggestion for inflating the chambers in a different order, which solved the problem. We're very pleased with our purchase, and some of our marina friends have even complimented us on it!.
We like our inflatable boat a lot and think it has a lot of useful features. To begin with, there are numerous handles to grab onto. We also like the bench seat with the bag that attaches to it. It's an excellent location for storing our personal belongings and keeping them dry. The only issue we had was a small leak near the scupper, which my husband fixed by removing the fitting, applying silicone to the area, and replacing it. He didn't seem to mind in the least. We haven't used it since the repair, but I don't expect it to be an issue in the future. Furthermore, we had to contact the seller with a registration question, and they were extremely helpful, even providing their phone number for us to call. We did make contact with them, and they were extremely accommodating. Overall, we are very pleased with the dinghy, and the customer service was excellent!.
What must I do in order to obtain the second seat? Thank you. br>br>.
I looked at a lot of different inflatable dinghies before deciding on this one because of the construction, handle locations, and positive reviews. It's been exposed to the elements for three months on the boat. It has maintained air pressure the entire time, and my wife and I can easily raise and lower it into the water using a halyard. For an update, I'll try to write another review in about a year.
This boat is ideal for cruising around the lake. Deep Creek Lake, MD is where I own a home. It's ideal for fishing with a trolling motor and boating on the lake with a 10 HP motor because it has no storage fees and is simple to launch and store. It's a beautiful boat.
Others who have experienced one say it is the best boat they have ever seen. I've tested it in Hawaiian waters, and it performs as well as it appears. Thank you for allowing me to return to the water!.
