The Five Oceans Pacific 900 Vertical Windlass is designed in 100% stainless steel and sits elegantly on the deck. AISI316 Stainless Steel was used to make it.

The Pacific 900 series requires 1/2 inch (12 mm) 3 strand rope and 1/4 inch (7 mm) HT G4 chain, which is the ideal size.

A powerful 900 Watt motor delivers a maximum line drop speed of 131 feet per minute and a maximum pull of 1450 pounds.

Boats up to 35 feet in length can be accommodated.

No, but yes if you do it yourself.

My chain is 5/16" but my rope is 1/2". Is there any chance this will work with my setup?

The horizontal windlass 900 W can only be used with a 5/16" HT-type HT-type HT-type HT-type HT-type HT-type HT 9/16" rope and G4 chain The rope with three twisted nylon cords is our recommendation.

Hello, can you tell me where I can get a mounting template to see if it matches the existing holes on the deck?

You should be able to obtain this information from the manufacturer's website or technical support.

To get to the chain Locker, I'll have to go through the bow pulpit and the deck about 4 inches. Can the mounting bolts be replaced with longer bolts?

I don't think there's any reason why it shouldn't be done. Underneath the hull, use a big washer.

For years, I've wanted a windlass. My problem was that my boat was an '87, and the bow deck was thin, with the pulpit actually coming over the top, reducing my mounting area to about 2 1/4 thin. I bought the 900w at first, but I had to upgrade to the 1000w because of the extra thickness. That one, on the other hand, seemed to be a perfect fit. This kit includes everything you'll need, including bow peddles (which most kits don't). I bought a $50 aftermarket "remote control" on Amazon that easily connected to the Five-Oceans relay, so I didn't bother with the bow pedals or dash switch, but at least it's there. The windlass appears to be made of high-quality stainless steel, and the motor appears to be extremely long-lasting. Mounting was simple EXCEPT on the 1000W, where the template shows the center line (rope travel) as well as an "arrow," so make sure you follow the "dotted line" rather than the "arrow!" I followed the arrow and mounted mine slightly to the right of the arrow - It's game over once you've drilled the holes. no re- Fortunately, it is not far away and has no bearing on the performance. The anchor line is slightly crooked, which irritates my OCD, but I'll get over it! I'm in the state of Michigan, near Lake Erie and the Detroit River. Because our anchoring spots are shallow (ranging from 5 to 20 feet), a lot of seaweed grows there. It's nothing to have 200 pounds of muck and seaweed on my anchor, and this windlass effortlessly pulls it up. It appeals to me.
