Questions & Answers

Is it possible to purchase the U-series Could you please provide the clip that holds up the ladder as a separate replacement There is a crack in my clip. Thanks so much. ?

If you contact the manufacturer, I would think they can provide them, but I could be wrong. There will be a charge for them, I'm sure.

What level of disassembly is included with this? Originally, the long L-shaped bracket was welded to the dock now, it is bolted to it. Was the ladder welded or bolted to the dock?

The item was already assembled when it arrived. A welded L-shaped bracket holds everything in place. This ladder is a favorite of ours. This ladder was ordered as getting into and out of the water on the boat has become increasingly dangerous as we get older. Very pleased

Between the flange clipped to the deck floor and the inside of the ladder rails, the distance should be 2-3 inches. ?

Using the dock edge as a measurement, it is 12 inches from the inside of the flange edge to the inside of the rail. There is one that I have installed on my dock and not on my boat. It is very happy there.

There were 13 holes in the mounting bolt pattern of my old boat ladder This is 1/8". Does this ladder have a bolt pattern with a width of 1 5/8"?

That is something I am not able to assist with. In case it doesn't line up, my ladders are in Florida and mine are not, but it should be wide enough to allow for drilling holes to match your 13 1/4".

I do not believe the product will last long
3/5

Only four weeks have passed since I installed it and it's already started to rust at the welded A very heavy weight was evident right out of the box, so it seemed sturdy. In spite of its small size, the unit is incredibly narrow. This makes it a little uncomfortable to use even as a regular device This male is of a decent size. Although the steps are not flat when extended down, there is a slight pitch outward, which causes a bit of bounce when getting out of the water using the lower two steps. Contrary to the images posted, which show the steps fully extended to a flat plane, the steps shown on your site are not fully extended. It will be interesting to see how it goes in coming months, but I am skeptical of its durability. Neither the manufacturer or the retailer provide a direct means to contact them after the sale, which leads to further.

A boat that is easy to get in is just the best
5/5

I would recommend this ladder to anyone who needs a stable ladder. A great construction job. It helped us get out of the water easier as we got older, because it became harder and harder to get in and out of the water by ourselves. I think this ladder is the best ladder we've ever used, and we've had a lot of boats in our lifetime. The best parts about this ladder are the wide width, I think it's 13 inches wide, and the wide steps. you are in your 20's, this ladder may not be for you but if you are flopping around like a tuna trying to get into the boat, this ladder could very well be the solution for you.

Feeling a little let down
3/5

This seems to be a solid program overall. Nevertheless, I'll keep an eye on it over time. Two issues Large stainless steel pieces arrive in loose plastic bags within the shipping boxes. An edge of the cross bar piece cut into one of the large handles after it slipped out of the plastic wrap. The plastic wrap would have stayed in place if a piece of tape had been placed on it. The instructions for assembling the product did not come with I just got the screws, nuts, and bolts from the hardware store. Having been unable to find instructions on the listing, I wrote to the seller to ask if they had any.

There are no instructions for assembling the product
3/5

A part of the product protruded through the box and there were no assembly instructions included. There was obviously some sort of reboxing. It took an inordinate amount of time to assemble it, resulting in an extra $200 to have it mounted on the deck, thus costing me $300 ($200 extra). Upon looking at the photo on Amazon, I based it on the XGEAR 4 stairs and not the Marine Baby 4 stairs, since that is what was shown when I searched for a photo on that website. It is the same product mirrored in two different ways. There is no sign of damage to the stairs now. They appear.

A dock ladder that looks amazing! It was a little unnerving reading some of the reviews regarding misalignment issues, however I had no issues whatsoever
5/5

This ladder fit perfectly on my dock after I cut away the padded trim to make room for it to fit. From the opening of the box to the point at which the box was finished, it took me about 15 minutes to install it by myself. Although my first thought as I opened the package was that the screws securing the ladder to the dock might be a little too small, the ladder seems really secure and there are no signs of In case I run into any issues when I use it or if I have any questions, I'll update the review. My experience with this product has been very positive. I wish I had ordered it earlier.

I really like the way it's After buying a pontoon boat, the dealer forgot to give me a swim ladder, so I had to purchase one for it
5/5

Marinebaby was my first choice out of several that I looked at. I am very pleased with how it turned out and how easy it was Swimming is now easy for our swimmers. It works perfectly, allowing them to get in and out of the water without any problems. While not in use, the unit is also conveniently stored.

This is a swim ladder
5/5

Now there is a swim ladder that can be used The handle is of a great diameter and it is a sturdy 600 lb. I have tried many brands, but this one is by far the best. You can test by scaling the The stainless steel is beautifully polished and listed as 316, which ensures it is suitable for salt water use.

I expected a more flimsy feel, but it was surprisingly sturdy! Despite his weight, I have a family member who is 450 lbs, and the ladder did not fail to hold him up
5/5

You can fold it up and deploy it with ease. Despite having bought several other types before buying this one, I can honestly say that it is well worth the expense to get this one and be done with ladder problems.
