Though I haven't got the ladder installed yet, I thought it would be appropriate to say so to other potential buyers when it showed up so promptly and was built better than I expected. It would be a shame to drop something into the lake bottom if there were any problems that prevented me from installing this ladder on my dock. The ladder was great at a great price. Slimy and prone to taking a beating, they were always difficult to handle. The ladder was installed in July last year. Worked great for me. The ladder was very sturdy although there were no instructions, and it was very easy to put together. I knew it would be flimsy, but the ladder proved me wrong. Getting a replacement pontoon boat accessory installed was challenging, but it was because the pontoon boat accessory had broken. Parts of the bottom of the furniture made it very difficult to tighten the bolts due to encroachments from the edges. However, the ladder is not to blame for this. The ladder is sturdy but not as wide as our old ladder. A large person can carry the weight of it, but it does not support the weight of a heavy load. I don't think it is as wide.
