The ladder I purchased after much searching is the one I have in mind. For our lake dock, it was everything we hoped for. There was a problem with the ladder not swinging back to its upright position centered within the handles after it had been assembled. If you scrubbed the handles badly (unless you held the one side outward while doing it) and slid the ladder in position by using the pin holes, the pin holes did not line up with the holes. You could tell that the two assemblies were not square with each other. In an engineering project I worked on, one of my friends and I discovered that aluminum welds weren't being properly "clean up" - they were rather rough. There was too much weld left, so the parts (or bolt heads) would not fit squarely together. In addition, some bolt holes weren't drilled square to the surface of the metal. His solution consisted of dismantling the ladder, using a grinder to clean some of the welds (not all welds matter, only those that interfere with another part's interconnection), and even adjusting some of the holes in the ladder. As a result, the ladder opens and closes squarely now, and we are thrilled with the result. The ladder is great for getting in and out of water for all ages. Having the top step a little wider makes it convenient to get in the water for younger children. In addition to tightening its manufacturing standards (and adding something that makes it easier to grab the ladder for raising it from water), this ladder would definitely be a perfect ladder.

After frequent use for a year, we noticed a small crack developing in the aluminum tubing at the mounting hole. My mistakes may not have been a result of inferior quality, but rather may have been caused by overwork I think I torqued the mounting bolt or something along those lines. As you can see, I took some time picking out this extension ladder. Although it was not the cheapest option, it met our requirements perfectly. Anyway, I digress. The first thing I did when I looked up Extreme Max was find their support email in the hopes of getting hold of The company sent out a free parts kit that included all mounting hardware without asking for questions. It turned out that the frame tubing was the problem, not the hardware. In an email, I found out that they didn't stock that part separately and were sending out a completely new ladder free of charge instead. I did not need to argue or exert any effort to achieve this. This ladder is a great ladder, and they stand by it! Madalen assisted me, and I can not say enough how wonderful she is. They will definitely be selling more products to me in the future. It is a good idea for you, as well.

The ladder is well constructed and sturdy. I was able to implement it This is a product I would buy In my opinion, what I disliked is that it comes in a gazillion pieces, and after assembling the ladder part, then the handle part, I was unable to hook together the two parts. My instructions were unclear, so I had to hire someone to mount it to the dock and put all the pieces together. I also found it difficult to appreciate her instruction to watch the video to see how the ladder would be attached to the dock. When I hired an employee, everything went smoothly, and the ladder worked like a charm. Despite this, however!
