This is hopefully the beginning of a lasting relationship. I was pleased with how well the pilings fit. So I could add screws without the worry of damage to the wood, I drilled three small holes around an inch from the bottom. Furthermore, I did not tighten screws beyond the point where the screw head made contact with the plastic, again to avoid cracking or damage to the plastic. The black shirt was the obvious choice since I'm assuming UV damage from the sun will not be a concern. Tome will have to answer that question. In the unlikely event that these do not hold up for a reasonable period of time, I may revise this review. These do not appear to be at risk of premature failure. You can see clearly what they are doing.

You will need to buy/order stainless nails, and you will need to drill pilot holes in it.
