A good bumper, although it is expensive

A good heavy bumper, the only downside is the price, it is an expensive bit of rubber, I use it on the line that ties my boat to the dock as the hole diameter is too large.

As long as the sailboat stays off the dock, ball will keep it from docking

There is already a clete at the corner of the dock, so I need to build a higher pole for mounting the roller. Moreover, I get to construct my own support since it's the best price for a 12" ball.
