I found the material of the hose to be heavy duty and it protected my boat's lines nicely from scratches. As opposed to the previous system, this is a more cost-effective option The guards provided protection against chafing. Although I didn't like how the material frayed so much (because the hose material sheds when it's cut into short lengths), and you did have to tie the hose to the lines by wrapping strings around the material or by tying tape around the hose pipe. Due to an approaching hurricane, I was in a rush when I received the hose, so I had no time to find an alternative solution to securing the hose or preventing.
Overall, the dimensions were accurate, but it was more difficult than expected to fuse the nylon threads after cutting, so there was some All in all, it was fine for the.
