Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use a Seaflo accumulator tank in conjunction with a larger accumulator tank? Is it possible to reduce pump recyling even more if this is done?

For that reason, I connect two of these small tanks in series at the same height and pressure. It does increase the volume of pressurized air and reduce the frequency of pump cycling.

Is there any reason why an accumulator couldn't be connected to a main line T after the pump, while the other accumulator port was blocked?

I believe it will work fine when connected to the tee.

It's a great product that's simple to set up
5/5

I was hoping to get a shurflo, but none of them were going to arrive in time for our trip. This was the only one that would arrive on time, and I was pleasantly surprised by the unit, which was easy to install. To mount it in the walk and connect it to the pump, I bought a faucet hose with 1/2" FIP connections on both ends. It performs much better than I had anticipated. I would strongly suggest it.

Excellent for use in a recreational vehicle
5/5

This product was simple to install and prevented my Scamp 13's pump from cycling and surging when the water flow was low. I can now have a constant trickle of water, with the pump turning on every 8 seconds. I have a 50 psi sureflow pump, and the seaflo accumulator's instructions say to set its pressure about 3 psi lower than the pump's. However, I discovered that a lower pressure, around 38 psi, worked best for me and gave me the longest time between pump turns on and off.

The pumps are operational
5/5

These pumps are fantastic; I live in Mexico, and my home's 'water system' is gravity fed. You had to swim laps in the shower to get wet, which was not ideal. No more. I now have excellent pressure in both the shower and the taps; the pump was cycling a little in the shower, so the flow wasn't consistent, but even at the slack flow, it was more than enough. I ended up purchasing an accumulator tank, which immediately resolved the 'problem,' which was never really a problem in the first place. It worked so well that I bought another for a friend's house, and they love it. I believe that neighbors are flocking to the house to witness the miracle of water pressure from their taps, similar to what happened in Fatima. People are impressed, even if it isn't quite on that scale. Great products, hands down. They're simple to install and come with a four-year warranty. In addition to the cost. To be honest, given how cheap they were, I wasn't expecting much, but exceeded my expectations by a long shot This is the solution if you have a problem with low water pressure in your home, trailer, or boat. Both the vendor and the product deserve five stars.

So far, everything has gone well
4/5

Time will tell, but we used to have a lot of hammering in our RV water lines. I padded all of the lines I could reach, but the hammering persisted, so this was our last resort. It has almost completely eliminated the hammering, and the extra capacity allows me to turn off the pump and flush the toilet at night without waking my wife. br>br>After installation, you can't even hear the pump when you're in the kitchen; there's still some noise in the bathroom, but it's not enough to wake the neighbors. br>br>The connections are something I'd like to see changed. Because they fit differently than my standard lines, I had to modify two of my standard lines to make this work. It did, however, necessitate pressure adjustment so that the tank empties before the pump kicks in. This is something I would recommend to anyone who has a hammering water line in their RV. br>br>.

It's fine, but it's not a slam-dunk
4/5

dunk. It does its job reasonably well, but the capacity is so limited that you shouldn't expect too much. It allows a small amount of water to flow before turning on the pump, which reduces cycling. Pump noise is also reduced by a small amount, but overall, I'm not sure I'd take the time or spend the money to do it again.

Pump surge is eliminated with this simple to install device
5/5

I put this in my RV so that I could have some water pressure while driving without having to turn on the pump. It'll suffice for this operation, but the added benefit will be how much better my pump runs, which will make a significant difference in terms of the pump surge I used to have. br>br>Easy to install, but the hose kit makes it a lot easier. It's as simple as unscrewing the kit, inserting the hose kit, and plugging in the pump. line. It's that easy. Just make sure you have the proper air pressure and keep an eye on it.

Hate it
3/5

I would not recommend this product. Surges a lot. Had one - a lot of noise A replacement was used as a return policy. This one wasn't as loud, but it surges and doesn't provide as much water pressure as you'd expect; additionally, I had to put a one-year warranty on it. Because it had a two-way gate valve on it, water could flow backwards when it wasn't in use.

When the water pump in my RV began to pulse, I remembered that I had a surge tank in my previous RV and decided to install one in this one to see if it would help
5/5

This is a fantastic piece of writing. I had a problem with pulsating water while on pump pressure, and this product solved the problem.
