*br>The spec sheet says it draws 7 amps *br>You might consider changing the fuse to make it work better. I have a 10 amp on mine and it works well.
Neither the inlet nor the outlet have pipe threads larger than half an inch. So far, there have been no leaks since I used an additional amount of Teflon tape on the straight pipe threads of the pump (I purchased the pump with straight pipe threads).
The difference in size comes from how much you are lifting in inches and feet. You can see a chart on the pump that shows how much pressure is required to lift a certain amount of water.

This is an excellent price. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service I receive. The pump I have in front of me is one I bought I found an economical Shurflow replacement on line for $160 and found one at my local dealer for $320. Reviewers claimed to have seen a great deal of success with the DC House pump, claiming it would flow more water at a higher pressure and be I found it to be an excellent value at $70. Within three days of ordering, it arrived at my house. It was easy to install, and it worked well. The pressure is very good and the noise level is very low. I had a problem with the pump causing it not to shut off a couple of weeks later. The DC House customer service team through Amazon responded after I checked for leaks but found none. The night I received the reply, I replied to it. The problem I described was causing their pressure switch to malfunction so I expect them to replace it. Rather than a replacement pump, they sent me one that was complete! I completed the installation today after it arrived in 3 days and They made it right in so many ways that I was blown away. I am assuming that my problem was not common based on the positive reviews. It would be my pleasure to recommend them. DC House, thank you so much!.
My 20 year old motorhome's water pump needed to be replaced, and I was delighted when I found this one. Originally it was a 3 GPM pump that used about 35 PSI. This one uses 5 GPM and 55 PSI. I had it professionally installed, and it worked fine for about 10 days, but then it started running constantly because the pressure limit switch had broken. I contacted the seller and they sent me another without asking a single question, and again they I believe the problem is with the same pump because the second one lasted about two weeks before starting to run continuously. I have already spent over $350 on labor and I am tired of it. My order has been delivered from a different manufacturer, and I will attempt an installation Still waiting to hear back from the seller, but I will contact them soon. When I get in touch with them again, I will update this review.
This pump has a flow rate of 5 gpm and a pressure of The flow of the shower or sink is almost nonexistent. I am very happy with this pump, and would recommend it to anyone.
This works fantastic when installed in my water tank that feeds into my waterwell, which pushes pressurized water into the house's water pressure tank. The fact that I don't have to prime it is incredibly convenient for me since I have no idea how I'd prime a centrifugal pump without doing some plumbing modifications. In addition, it was super cool that I did not have to connect It had the automatic pumping feature on pressure drop which I had no idea about. Adding a correction We accidentally ran out of water for five minutes, and it Even though it is running audibly, it doesn't pump almost any water anymore. In terms of reliability, I would grade it F. Adding a correction current setup appears to cause the thing to act erratically. My pump still pumps water, but I'll need to change my setup so I can turn it off with a pressure switch, because the pump does not seem to sense water pressure properly on a straight line (The pump always runs, but nothing flows when the tank is In order for it to work properly, it may need to be directly connected to a pressure tank without an external check valve.
The sentence you just read is correct. I currently have the third pump of this type. Three months is a typical length of time for the first one. As far as I could tell, the controller had died because I could take off the panel, directly supply 12V to the pump motor, and the pump continued to run. The replacement was provided within a very short period of time after I explained About four months later, the same thing happened to that one as well. It was something I mentioned when I contacted them. The technical team worked with me to map out my system, and they discovered some potential issues, but nothing that would explain why my application died early. PayPal will refund the shipping costs for this one if I return it. They asked me to ship back this one. This team is definitely iterating based on feedback, as I have already noticed a few design changes. While I'm sad that it didn't work, DC Housing was a pleasure to work with and I feel confident my current setup will last quite a while. Should it fail, In addition to what you mentioned, what else is needed?.
Pulsations weren't felt and the sound was quiet. Easily swapped out the leaking pump on our RV in minutes. It is nice to have an extra two gallons per minute to flush the toilet quickly and conserve water.
My communication with DC was followed by them telling me to turn the switch off. The pump started jolting when I turned the pressure switch clockwise 4 times, and before I could repair it, the pump started malfunctioning -- The pump would not work Therefore, I requested a refund as soon as I got upset. This also happened with the new pump I got (of a different brand). After about an hour of searching, I discovered an air leak in the main water tank. I have patched this leak (tensioned the clasp which holds the screws end in place) and then the DC pump is working great again! (Using a small Allen key) I had to adjust the pressure valve a few times to get it to work right, but it is now perfectly reliable.
NOTE In order to turn off the pump, you must adjust your pressure valve (Allen key not included) Make sure there is no air leak at the inlet as well as in any lines leading to the A new thought occurred to me It would be better for these manufacturers to put an adjustment knob on the pressure release instead of the tiny, hard to reach (in some installations).
It is almost.
