Getting up to 40 feet in the SeaRay Sundancer was very easy with this. Upon seeing your question, I showed it to my husband who replied Obtain some barbed fittings with standard hose threads on the ends, as well as hose clamps for him. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions. Thank you!

All of you will find this disgusting, however, I've taken a test into my own hands so you don't have to do it. I actually disconnected the vent tube and blew through a hose connected to the old filter, so that the holding tank could be pressurized after the pipe was disconnected. I knew I was getting air back through my mouth after taking my mouth off the hose. There was a horrible smell in the air. When I installed the new filter and conducted the same test again, there was no smell at all. It is probably dependent on the length of service how much time is spent on board and how much use is made of the facilities. This blow test will be carried out once a month until it fails and I will report the results.
A couple months ago, I installed this filter on my Sea Ray at the beginning of the season, and it has been holding up quite well. The installation took me just a couple minutes. It's the same process. I unscrewed both ends of the old one (which was a Sealand), and then screwed this one into place. I placed mine right on top of the holding tank with a strap so it would be secure. Changing has not left any odor at all since I switched, and at a fraction of the cost of Sealand, it would make sense.
Compared to the Sealand/Dometic ECO Replacement Cartridge Toilet Vent Filter, this one performs better. By reducing carbon emissions, the East Coast and Domestic are able According to my opinion, Dometic deceives customers when they claim, "The innovative concave shape of the Dometic ECO filter assures that malodorous gases are completely removed by activated odor removal technology. " This is an adsorbing medium. Using that shape means that they use less carbon since they have less space for it. There is a greater volume of activated carbon in the Voker filter as it is filled completely. It will result in fewer odors than the Sealand/Dometic ECO filter since more vent air will pass through the media.
As a person who can't find anything that really works, I'd have been happy with any improvement in the way the holding tank smells. This filter, however, worked 100% of the time. Installed in a few minutes. My dock went from being swept every time I flushed by a toxic cloud that killed everything, to smelling like nothing at all. When I first saw the filter, I was worried that the vent was actually blocked. By the slight breeze, it was evident air was being expelled. I lived aboard a liveaboard boat for almost exactly one year. My second one has just been installed. In addition, no chemicals should be used.
Having been recommended these filters by a friend, I replaced one of the filters that had a US flag on it with one of these. Previously, I was having a slightly stinky head outside the boat when flushing, and it went away immediately after installing I am satisfied with the results, and the installation was easy. The product was excellent and I will definitely buy it.
In the end, it would only get 3 out of 5 due to the fact I can't A kit for installation is not included in this product. Looking at dozens of these and reading reviews, I decided to select this one because it sounded like a good filter and was relatively cheap. There are no brackets or clamps to install it. I didn't notice that it came without those parts. As I searched for one, I could not find one, so the kit is currently useless to me unless I buy another. So, I'll just throw out the boat before I sell it, since I won't need a second to decide.
Based on the positive reviews, I bought this filter at the end of last season. So I thought I would give it a try since I have used the Sealand/Dometic filter for years and noticed that it is roughly two times the price. Our boat was launched in May and it was installed at that time. Launched with no fuel, the tank was completely empty. In just 24 hours after I used the head moderately, sewage and sulfur entered the vents every time I flushed it. Nothing happened as a result of this filter. Even after removing the water from the boat, the problem persists. It appears that there are no more white Dometic ECO filters currently available at West, so I bought the green Dometic ECO filter. I don't smell anything, so there's nothing to worry about. We do not recommend you to spend your money on this product. Since I bought it in the fall, it is too late for me to return it, so I threw it out. It's a waste of money if you buy generic stuff instead. A waste of $50 that I would have liked to spend on something else instead.
When I replaced the filter when I bought just the replacement, I found that it took a standard hose fitting adapter to install in the vent line. This new filter will be significantly easier to replace than the more expensive Sealand version that requires a force fit with o rings. The Sealand version of software is always tricky to install. When you compare it to this, it will be easy.
