It's not hard to set up. Since the previous outer shell had been broken, I spent about 45 minutes removing it and replacing it with a new one. At first, I wasn't sure how to put it back together, but after a few minutes I figured it out.
It was an easy replacement and installation on the existing control housing of my trolling motor that saved me a considerable amount of money. You will need to take a picture of the inside (wires, cables, etc. ) in order to reassemble it.
The majority of components can be made to function. Edge on the Min Kota side. To make it fit, you need to make a few modifications. It is not a major issue. My sincerest thanks.
We regret to inform you that this product will not work on I have a Minn Kota part number 2262535 that fits.
