Despite the slight lag in 2016), I am pleased. Specifically, the dimensions on the inside of the bottom where the battery will sit are 13 5/16" Long x 7 1/4" Wide x 8 7/8" Tall, and you will need to add another 1 13/16" to that for the terminals of your battery. The inside dimensions are 13 7/8" Long x 7 3/4" Wide at the eight 7/8" point from the bottom, giving you a 13 7/8" x 7 3/4" sized container. It fits perfectly with 1/2" clearance from the bottom to the length and width of the Group 31 Vmaxtanks Vmaxslr125 AGM Deep Cycle 12v 125Ah SLA battery that I purchased on Amazon.
This is used to secure the battery in place (rubber strips are screwed into some thing solid, and straps are threaded through them and around the battery).
Certainly, but take the time to do it carefully and slowly. The port for the cigarette will be rated at 10 A maximum, so it will take a long time. In the case of a deeply discharged 80AH battery (for example), it is best to charge it at *20 amps. Charge it more amps, and you'll blow the fuse or burn the port.
It is up to you to purchase the battery you desire This box does not contain a battery.

The reason I bought this case was because it had a 60 amp It is connected to a new Minn Kota 55 lb thrust trolling motor and an updated The speed controller on the trolling motor got fried and stuck on fast speed shortly after I stood up and used it for the first time for less than two hours. As it turned out, the nut for the positive connection on the bottom of the lid just fell off and my speed controller was fried due to the cable moving around and failing to trip the circuit breaker. In this case, however, the connection is hidden by a piece of plastic on the bake side of the lid that is impossible to remove. When the connection is missing or worse has fallen off, you may not notice it. You shouldn't have to worry about this connection breaking apart if you can't keep it up. This battery case may be of use if you choose to use it.
The overall design is great, just ensure that all connections are tight. This includes not just the terminal connections to your battery, but all connections within the power center as well. To see all the connections, you need to remove the internal cover (not more than 2 screws). All the screws need to be tightened. There were loose connections in my system that I was not aware of. In the power center, there was an intermittent problem with the motor that would randomly stop working. Once I figured out how to remove the cover, I could access everything and, sure enough, there were multiple connections that needed to be tightened.
As a shopping addict, I click and buy most of the time and hope for the best. This box is top notch. There were so many features built into it that I wasn't prepared for. The device has a dummy volt meter, red-colored The yellow-orange color It is green to indicate there is a charge. The green digital readout volt meter is still installed during installation for more accuracy, however, it is still a useful tool for any other user who needs With two internal breakers, one 60 amp motor, one 10 amp accessory, the system has a total of two internal breakers. knowledge of electrical circuitry, you can custom design this box to suit your needs in any way you want. As you can see in my pictures, I use it to power my boat's electrical system and to drive the Besides the side lighting switch which I run for LEDs, I also have a switch that runs two 360 degree light switches, two USB chargers, and two 120 volt don't need all of that right now, but it's handy if I need it later. There are some folks out there who might benefit from this. My sincerest thanks.
It looks like Walmart group 29 Everstart fits just fine. I'm not sure why it states only groups 24 and 27. There might be a slight difference in size between Walmart and After you unbuckle the strap so you can service your battery or check cables, the black clips and screws keep the strap in place. Since the screws provided were too long, I was afraid they would bore holes in my battery over time. Instead of the screws provided, I used gutter screws instead. Plugs in the 12v power outlets (2) are cigarette lighter sized, so they are used for automobiles A charging cable for your phone. To the half-way mark If it does not have a battery, those who complain should We recommend you turn in your keys to the police and stop grocery shopping on your own.
My experience with this program was good. I thought it was a little pricey for a battery container, but I realized that I would have to add the cigarette lighters, strap, and other components to the box, so it seemed worthwhile. It also seems to be higher quality than some of the other boxes I've seen. I found the external power posts to be a This way, I will not have to unbuckle the box in order to run my ham radio or use jumpers. At the top of the page, there are five dots). I was able to store an extra wire and a couple of tools in this space, which was a blessing. I am using it in conjunction with a Renogy 100w solar panel on a 2001 Toyota Tacoma. Into the bed of the truck, behind the rear passenger wheel axle, screwed the box.
It gave me the opportunity to make my own solar generator. I have added a 100-watt solar panel and an inverter that is attached to a charge controller. In the end, I was able to get 12 volt and 120 volt ac up to 800 watts for less than Those are the same prices that others are selling for. It is great to be able to learn so many things on the internet.
Each year, I go on a two-week camping trip commemorating living history in the medieval times. The nature of my work means I cannot turn off every device completely, so I need to charge some of them. For charging my devices during the night, this box is used in conjunction with a marine battery. As much as I used it with my CPAP, I also used it without it. So I could also run a laptop, we use a power inverter, but it's quite noisy and consumes a lot of power (as one would You can set it up very easily It only takes a few seconds to take the nut off on the terminals, connect the cables, and tighten the nuts. By utilizing a solar panel during the day, we can charge the battery. This is the second one I've bought from this company, I bought the first one in 2012 & it just died so I purchased the second. On the new one, the fuse buttons are of a higher quality, but the overall box still remains the same. It has been a pleasure working with you.
Although the other reviews complain about weak battery terminals, I found this box to be quite adequate and allows a group 24 battery to be easily carried around. Does the box or the terminals in the box have indestructible parts? it's probably not going to make a difference. My boat has a trolling motor, but I use this box in the RIB. It works just fine. In order to accommodate this, we turn the RIB upside down on the swim platform so that the battery and motor are always installed and removed. It's not terribly convenient, but the box has helped make transporting a "45lb battery" fairly portable. I don't have to worry about we getting stranded on the beach with three kids when the box is up in the open, exposed to water, sun, and getting knocked around, and the terminals don't turn out to be a major problem.
