You haven't provided enough information to me, so I'm not sure what the problem is. In order to be certain, you would need to identify the brand and model of the engine.

Thread tape for pipes is not resistant to gasoline and you cannot use it safely if the fitting is in contact with it. Use loctite instead.

The product is quite simple. It works quite well. Just wish there had been an instruction regarding whether Teflon tape should be used or not The software would be useful for me if I didn't use it. Although it is fine, I'd rather not The only thing I have a problem with is that. All other aspects have been fine so far.

A closer examination reveals that the fuel post is about 1mm shorter than my other connectors, giving my connector a marginal seal with my fuel pump There is a ring in the connector mating. A good seal is obtained when you push it in, however, if it hangs the wrong way it leaks fuel or allows air into the intake. I am not going to use this in.

I don't have a problem with this connector. It fits perfectly with This product was bought so that I could install it on a gas tank that previously had a hose clamped directly on it so that the line was permanently attached to it. no longer have to disconnect/connect my tank every time I want. Since the gas line isn't attached to it, I can do that whenever I need to.
