One is hot, the other is cool, and the third is neutral.
It will, in fact. On my 36-volt trolling motor, that's what I use. When I bought it years ago, it came with the motor already installed from Skeeter.

This was purchased to go with my Terrova trolling motor. It was a disaster for the application. The inside holes are too small for the cables provided, and I couldn't use the connectors that were already installed on the wire, so I had to cut them off to get it to work. The connector and all of the parts are easily disassembled and fall out, making assembly difficult! If it's the same application as mine, I'd go with a different one; I wound up drilling holes in the connector. Cords are being cut off at the factory. And taking a lot longer than it should have! I shouldn't have used it in the first place, but I didn't have a choice because I was in the middle of nowhere!.
Wiring was incredibly simple and quick to complete. br>br>I plug and unplug a few times a month with no problems; this plug is frequently covered in blood and water but never fails to keep the motor running.
It's a high-quality connector if it fits your female connection on your boat.
For my application, it worked great.
It worked perfectly to replace the connector on my trolling motor. Installing it was a breeze.
It's built to last. It works well to relieve stress. Because I had an extra $100 shore power extension cord laying around, I used it for a plasma cutter that needed a 30a circuit. It's fantastic!.
It was an excellent solution.
