Identifiable on each type 4 PFD is the Seal of Approval from the Coast Guard. The same is true here. PFDS type 4 needs to be replaced when both the writing of approval and PFDS wear out

I think these cushions are okay for the price. They fulfill the Type 4 PFD requirement and last about two The ones I have are fine, but they are quite expensive. I'd like better, longer lasting ones, but they become quite.
The quality of the product is good. I haven't seen anything as good as this. Cushions can be useful instead of boat seats since they are not as comfortable as upholstered boat seats.
The truth is that I have no idea. The outer cover of this beautiful car rotted and tore after just a few years of being under a covered garage. After pulling hard on the strap to see if the covers were still intact, they tore right off the strap. Keeping them could have killed someone when the straps tore loose and the pillow parted ways, if I had kept them instead of throwing them away. Other than the four brand new cushions I purchased with the boat (I bought it used), there are four other 20-year-old cushions with the boat. Those cushions, though I don't know what brand they are, are made of thick nylon and probably will last a lifetime. Very disapointed in the Stearns ones that have been damaged by UV. My expectations were high when I bought them, but I was wrong about their quality and durability. There is a THIN covering on the motor.
Well made, soft to sit on, meets the requirements for a throwable, and floats nicely (I checked), so give it a shot.
