Yakpads - Cushioned Seat Pad, Gel Seat Pad for Canoes with Water Bottle/Thermos Holder, Portable Seat Cushion for Outdoor Watersports and Recreation

During a 9-day canoe trip through the Quetico wilderness in Ontario, the seat performed well. While portaging through some pretty rough trails a couple weeks ago, I left it fastened to the seat. Although it doesn't seem like it offered a lot of cushion, I couldn't have been much worse off without it since our rental canoe had webbed seats. However, an aluminum or plastic seat would certainly benefit from its addition. I was able to keep it on very well with the buckles, and it didn't slip while I was using it. Also, it did not soak up a great deal of water. It would have been better to leave off the water bottle holder altogether, or to make it better by picking a different material, as others have suggested. In addition to being coarse and stiff, it was difficult to fit a water bottle in and it tore along the seams after only two days. The rest of the trip was a pack-out anyway, so I just let it dangle from the end It might be useful if you used hard plastic- Holder for a bicycle bottle Is there a removable cage type thing that unclips?.

As for the star rating, I would give it one because the product is not what I ordered. In spite of the fact that the seat is comfortable and does also grip the seat I placed it on, the strings are not long enough to keep it in place. In case there was a mix up with the selection, I also ordered a second one, but it was the same as the first. A request for clarification from the vendor regarding this mixup/incorrect item has been sent via email. In sum, the picture will not accurately depict the product you I was not able to secure the bottle to the seat as I expected since it did not have the water bottle holder. There is a lot of comfort in this seat.

I like the way it works and it doesn't slide around very much. Although I would have given it more stars, the stitching has started coming out after just 7 uses, which means it needs to be repaired. It is very comfortable to sit on the cushioned seat. Have had one in the past, but just what you need for a paddle on the ocean in an outrigger canoe. When you need padding on your butt, this is the perfect choice.

I ordered it with a seat, but I got it with no support. I have sent you an e-mail A message was sent twice via Amazon, but no response was received. He also purchased the same seat, but it does not include a bottle holder. They ran out of bottles holders, or did they make a mistake with their At the very least, I expected a response.

My favorite part of the seat pad is the gel. Buying diamonds has been a regular habit of mine for quite some time. The model has very thin padding and does not cushion I would like it to be cushioned more. The sit bones flatten to zero under the cushion.

For our OC6 I use this. In addition to being very comfortable, it attaches and locks onto the seat. It also has a water bottle holder that I really like You do not have to poke around in the bucket, fumble with your bottle, and need to hand something to seat 1 as often. It comes in very handy during those long practices. It was a great price, so I bought a few.
