Selected User Reviews For Monstrum Medium Profile Picatinny Riser Mount (0.8" H x 1.5" L), for Red Dots

A very affordable, but highly functional product
5/5

The Bushnell TRS25 is mounted to an AR pistol with Magpul MBUS sights to observe the rifle. I am exactly the right height for witness. If the mount came with the same lever that comes with the UTG mount, it would have been easier to hand tighten to a satisfactory level, however it was not a problem to grab a wrench for the job. I ran the pistol hard, putting 120 rounds through it in a short period of time, and noticed the riser was loosening. I'm going to be honest with you. The parts of an AR worth paying a premium are few and far between. Ideally, you will also use your BBL, BCG, optical system, It is a good idea to invest money here. Once you have achieved quality, it doesn't hurt anymore. However, it is It does not make sense to pay a high price for a name brand product. It's amazing how sturdy and sturdy the $10 part can be, especially when it's solidly made. If you asked me, I would give it a Due to the fact that you cannot hand tighten the riser to an appropriate level, this design gets a 5 star rating. In spite of the price, the quality deserves a five star review instead of a four star review.

I was looking for a shorter riser to fit my application, but this is too tall anyway
5/5

This is a piece that looks great, is solid, and can mount to a rail with a lot of strength. Having said that, the only thing I have a problem with is not the product, but my inability to think things through before I bought it. This was something I wanted to do with you As one can see from my Truglo red dot with my iron sights and their Because I purchased this because 93 inches) was too high for me. One tenth of an inch does not lower the optic enough, but, again, this is not the fault of Monstrum. The system did mount fine, and will remain at zero no matter what I do.

My red dot is at the perfect height
5/5

added a red dot sight to my Ruger 9mm carbine, but was not able to see well because of the iron sights on the rifle. Once the lift is in place, the sight window is perfect. Now I have to re-zero the red dot on the sight. Since I can't use my BSA tube sight tool at the new height, I can't use it. However, the new lift installed in the sight window makes the sight window look great.

Ideology of the Elites on Standards is debunked
5/5

I encourage you to read my message! The mount that Larue, Bobro, Aimpoint, and all the other high end manufacturers (fancy label here) want to keep your eyes off. Now before I go into further detail about this controversial statement, I want to say that I admire and respect the above Truly great stuff is made by them. was not an option, then I would say yes to going over and picking up the kids. Make sure you pick up a bottle of Dom Perignon on your way back to your villa suite as well. Is that right? I'm kidding, but if I had that much money I'd have a chimpanzee named Doug as well. I am now moving on to the next section of my review. It's time to step down from the soapbox. A monstrum tactical optic mount with extremely high quality is a fantastic piece of equipment. It would be reasonable to say that this mount trumps the competition in terms of value for money. The time period. You're a stud, man. It just felt like you were in "no man's As a result of my own use of the sample that was sent to me, I can attest to the fact that this mount is about as good as any of the other high-end The past few years have seen several of these. is one of the best investments you can make for the money It has always remained zero regardless of how I put it through its paces. All of the components fit and finish well as well, and all of the components are of good quality, overall. The materials used for the project are not disclosed. The answer to this is that I don't know. In any case, there is no mention of whether it is a 600 series or 7 thousand series aluminum. In the end, I don't care what it is I just like it. I don't know what type of material it is but it seems rigid. Can you tell me what that is? In the case of an F marked front sight block sight mounted in the medium profile mount on any picc top rail ar15/10 with any Aimpoint H1 style red dot sight, this mount is ABSOLUTELY ZERO. A whole set up that is both low cost and extremely high value (see my review on it) is something I use on it. In the event you want the CO-percent to be lowered When you set up a WITNESS, you will need a mount that has a HIGH PROFILE. You may want to get a copy of You should seek the advice of a witness before making your decision. My preferred way of dealing with absolutes is not the gospel but my preference. During my first visit to a store for optic set ups years ago, I didn't realize all of these things. People buy the combo kits and spend the extra money because of that. I believe that this mount can accomplish the goal, but there are better ways to go about this, so I hope this review can help anyone save some money and gain other high-value components at a lower cost. Is it a good My answer is yes. To date (I can't count the hundreds of rounds where it's worked for me), it's been successful. What would I do in Iraq if I was in the armed forces or on the beat as a street cop or special task force member? Not likely, but it would not be my cost and would be a department's. It is more than likely that this is the case, so yeah give me the Aimpoint or whatever flavor suits your fancy. While I'm at it, I would really like to carry a spare in my assault pack as well. In the case of this gun (home defense, recreation), it's perfect for what I need it for. I have $10 in the mount and $200 in the optic, and if the gun crashes onto a rock, I won't cry a drop of blood. I think one might be enough. I don't know how to replace it, but it could be done. For the cost of one of the Elite sets from any of the manufacturers, I may be able to get three of these sets for the price of one set from any of the "Elite" manufacturers. But I cannot say if they will be any better than the ones You people are telling the truth. It hurts a bit because if you are like me, you probably have a piece of one of the elites in the closet or else where, but I am here to tell you now, the time for spending all of that money has passed. It is my hope that by reading this review you will feel empowered and convinced to try it out for yourself at least You got a bad sample if I've led you astray, and I apologize for that. All manufacturers suffer from it regardless of the amount of money involved. My testing of the sample that I received from Amazon leads me to conclude that It has great reviews, and I suggest anyone looking for a mount to try it out. 0 is a great number
5/5

It's time for 8 risers! 0 is the number. The 8-inch height of this riser makes it perfect for people who are absolutely tall On my AR, I have a witness. As a result, I removed the carrying handle and installed a Bushnell trs25 and a Magpul bus. It's worth taking the time to mention that the riser looks absolutely beautiful in terms of the finish and appearance. Furthermore, its design is rock solid as it uses a clamp that runs the full length of the riser rather than one that runs along part of its length.

As I have no experience with such a mount, I would suggest using it as a stand-alone mount
5/5

In other words, what it says is what It would probably be better to use this as a stand alone mount since it won't reach a high enough height to properly mount inline with The solution may serve as an alternative way to use iron sights at an elevation that is not possible with a 1 inch riser. Whatever the reason this solution is likely to be extremely durable and well made. A solution that is economically sound. A mount like this is something I would buy again if I needed one.

This riser has eight rungs. As a co- This witness is perfectly compatible with Bushnell TRS-100 It only exists for MAGPUL MBUS 25 and MAGPUL MBUS on AR platform, if only for noncommercial use If I had to use it for duty purposes, I would, since I have three. You may need to go with Warne/GG+ if you need to live or die We deal with a lot of Midwest Industries, etc. You can also buy something made in the USA. Although Monstrum is made in China, I like the way it works on my fun gun despite the fact that it's 100% made in China.

It does what it's supposed to do
4/5

As a result of torqueing the screw down tight, I could see that it is slightly bent. I awarded this a 4 out of 5 stars. It should not do that, even though this item is a low-cost one. Despite this, there is no movement of the mount. have not gone through it yet, but as soon as I do I will write up the review. The feeling is very strong.
