Questions & Answers

Why are there three screws in the photo?

Hello,br>Amazon is in charge of the photos that appear in the listings. Eurooptic is our main website. The images on com are accurate.

Will a 50mm scope clear a standard picatinny rail if this mount is mounted high enough?

Yes, I have a 40mm scope mounted on my AR, and the distance between the scope and the rail is more than 1/2 inch.

Is this a zero MOA mount?

I'm not sure if I understand the question - Please accept my sincere gratitude for the following: "0 MOA" refers to a scope's accuracy rather than the scope's precision. mount. AD- The scope's RECON mount is determined by the rail to which it is attached. and, second, the scope of the project. After mounting the scope, it should be sighted in to preference (e.g., e.g., e.g., e.g., e.g., , a hundred yards, and a two-hundred-year period so on). When mounting a mount to a firearm, make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions. In short, all mounts are designed to align to the rail for accuracy, but they are not marked as "0 MOA," whereas scopes are.

Seller - I need this in 1 inch, but can it be delivered in 2 days via Amazon Prime? If you don't have a 1" version, would inserts work in the 30mm?

I wouldn't do it.

WOW! Goodbye, Larue! I really like this mount
5/5

I've been a Larue fan for a long time and own a number of Larue mounts. I compared the mount to the Larue version of the same mount as soon as it arrived. First and foremost, the American Defense mount is significantly less expensive and superior in quality. There are two locking tabs on the ADM mount and one on the Larue. Two beveled side cams on the Larue tighten against the underside of your gun's rail as you rotate them. It detracts from the finish, and if the adjustment is made too tight, it can bite into your rail. The ADM consists of two cams that are pushed into two clamps, which are then clamped to your rail. The Larue's under lugs are about a half-inch apart, whereas the ADM's under lugs (cross pins) are much further apart, resulting in two distinct clamping areas. These clamps clamp against the rail with a much larger surface area. The tension on the ADM could be adjusted without the use of tools, but the Larue requires the use of their wrench. This mount has left a lasting impression on me, and I plan to buy another one soon. The Department of Defense in the United States of America has a firm grasp on the situation. I'm very happy.

Who the hell is LaRue? save $50! Buy ADM! **Updated on March 21, 2017**br>br>An excellent, rock solid mount for AR type rifles
5/5

Excellent quality, very well made, and easy to use. It's a little heavier than the lightest mounts on the market, but not by much. Over the typical lower quality and featureless mounts in the sub-$100 price range, this mount is well worth the extra money. In the $100 range, and at night Compared to the low-quality quick-detach mounts in the sub-$100 price range, this mount is a night and day difference. The cost of the class is $50. By the way, the majority of them are made for airsoft guns. They may appear to be of good quality, but they are made of inferior materials and have not been properly heat treated. Don't squander your cash on them! This ADM is the genuine article! br>br>The American Defense AD recon 30 std is well-made and finished, with a nice, long-lasting anodizing that matches my FN AR-70. 15 is the perfect number. It affixed my Primary Arms 1 to it. Easily, quickly, and securely mount an 8-24 mm ACSS scope. By the way, this is a fantastic optic. br>The mount is built to accommodate differences in scope and rail tolerances while providing rock solid and repeatable mounting. br>The spring-loaded quick detach lever clamps make removal and reinstallation quick and easy, and the levers feature a smart, secure, and simple locking system. Tension adjustments are quick and simple, with a total of eight positions per revolution. However, depending on how I adjust it, my back lever is either slightly too tight or too loose. However, I expect it to loosen up over time. Unlike some other mounts, this one won't eat your rails. This is a fantastic design. br>br>The mount has nearly perfect eye relief for my application, and the height above rail is just right for my setup. When folded, it just barely clears my Magpul MBUS rear sight, leaving about 1/8" (3mm) of clearance. This is ideal for a good cheek weld, but as with all mounts of this height, it crowds the charging handle a little with my preferred mount location. At 1-foot, my front sight frame is also quite visible and noticeable. With my scope and this mount height, I can get 3x magnification. However, it vanishes above 3x and has no effect on me because I use this scope as a red-dot scope. 1x for the dot/reflex and 8x for the rest. br>br>After mounting up my first trip to my local indoor 25 meter range, I noticed that my groups had shrunk to 1/8" for 3-shots. rounds . It appears that return to zero is 100%. It's just as good as any other quick detach mount on the market. I'm going to make it to the 100-point mark. As soon as the weather in Atlanta clears, I'll be shooting at the 800 meter range. If necessary, I'll update with any new information. br>br>Overall, this is a fantastic product that I enthusiastically endorse. There's no reason to spend more when this is one of the best quick detach mounts on the market, and it's $50 less than comparable products. There were no complaints, only compliments, and the service was extremely well recommended! br>br>**update*
I purchased a second one for my fantastic Primary Arms 4- 14x R-ACSS ACSS ACSS ACSS ACSS ACSS ACSS AC I just placed an order for grid scope as well. The second mount is identical to the first, and it is the best value for money among USA-made mounts.

The outcomes are fantastic
5/5

Return to zero ability on a QD mount. You won't be sorry you bought it. I used it in conjunction with a Vortex Strike Eagle 1. On an AR15, 6x24 is a good size. The outcomes are fantastic.

Extremely long-lasting, with no or minimal zero shift after drops, removal, and storage
5/5

I've had reservations about quick-mounts in the past. Since experiencing the A, I've been releasing levers. with the Elcan Specter DR 1-mounting system This cantilever mount, on the other hand, completely outperforms it. I started with Vortex Strike Eagle OPMOD 1 and worked my way up. 6x LPVO was used to test it over a range of distances; The rifle was put down several times and was not given any special treatment in general. The zero remained consistent every time I picked it up again. I switched to a Vortex Razor HD Gen II 1- after being blown away by its performance and confident that the mount would not drop the optic. 6x24 and used it to test the mounting system's consistency. The performance was spectacular as before, with no changes in zero that I or anyone else could notice. Any deviations in shot placement could be blamed on me or other factors rather than the optics system's integrity. I strongly advise; Installation was simple and straightforward, and there's no reason why this mount shouldn't perform admirably if the torque specifications are followed.

Great mount for a scope
5/5

Don't pay attention to the negative feedback. First and foremost, ignore the negative feedback. This thing is fantastic; I've been using it for three years and have yet to encounter a single issue. It won't move, won't budge, and yes, when I took it off and put it back on the rifle (tried it out for shits and gigs), it kept my zero. I'm not sure what they mean when they say it won't hold a zero or that the screws won't come out. If you don't know how to install it properly, don't buy a Walmart scope buddy. Push on the QD lever to "pop out" the screw and adjust the tension when the mount is removed from the rail. Come on, people, there shouldn't be any negative feedback on this thing. Is it possible that the user made a mistake?.

This mount is fantastic
5/5

Everything ADM produces is of the highest quality, but there is one cautionary note. Naked screws and a small tube of Vibratite thread locker were once provided by ADM. They've recently started supplying screws with a per-package charge. As a thread locker, I used a dollop of yellow polymer goop. I strongly advise you not to use those screws because they are so tight that simply screwing them in requires more than 25 inch pounds of torque. As a result, you won't be able to properly torque the screws, and you won't be able to remove the yellow sh. For the love of money or for the love of money, I have a lot of stuff When I contacted ADM, they informed me that they would most likely revert to Vibratite, and they promptly mailed me a replacement set of screws. Excellent customer service, and hopefully they've switched back by the time you read this. If not, simply contact them and request the naked screws.
