Questions & Answers

Why isn't it possible to ship this to California?

California is a great place to visit because it is a fun-loving state. Zone without restrictions.

Is it possible to replace the stock on the 1022 with one of the many different types? Or are they only suitable for use with a firearm rather than a pellet gun?

Stocks for the 10/22 Air Rifle cannot be replaced with firearms parts due to the internal design. The receiver, on the other hand, has 10/22 scope bases drilled and tapped into it.

How can I keep the CO2 from completely escaping once it's installed?

The two CO2 cartridges are still full when you put them in the stock's slot. The cap should come with a washer, and when you screw it tight into the threaded hole, pins on both ends activate the CO2. It is approximately 65 minutes long. 75 shots, but not in the middle of the night.

Is it possible to use the safety in the opposite direction?

No, the safety can't be turned back on.

This is by far the best pellet rifle I've ever owned
5/5

PERIOD! UPDATE: Feb 20: After trying to shoot squirrels with it, I'm not so sure about the accuracy of this gun. The pellets literally bounced off the ground from a distance of about 40 feet. I ultimately had to return it. It's fantastic for a plinker, but that's it. It's just a nice toy if I can't even kill a squirrel from 40 feet away. I'm going to try a break barrel with a little more vigor and see how it goes. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> January 28th, 20 I was planning on doing some plinking today when I discovered the C02 was empty (I had just installed new ones the day before and had only fired about 15 rounds). When I installed the new caplets, I heard a slight hissing. I took them out, double-checked everything, oiled the seal and the new C02 caplets, and put them back in. More hissing followed, and before I could even insert a full magazine, the C02 had all but vanished. After more than an hour of investigation, it appears that the C02 system has a crack or break somewhere inside. I've only shot a few hundred rounds through it, so I'm not sure if it's just a fluke or poor quality. Fortunately, I'm still within the return period, so I'll be returning it for a refund. I'll take a look at the next one and see if it behaves similarly. If that's the case, I'll have to return it for a refund and put this gun out of my mind. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> WARNING: THIS IS AN IMPORTANT SUGGESTION. When the C02 level is low, this rifle does not give you much notice. It's just a weird noise. There's also a pellet stuck in the barrel! It's not a big deal; simply remove the magazine and clean the barrel from the muzzle with a cleaning rod of the proper diameter. The pellet is fairly easy to push out. After that, replace the C02 and you're ready to go! br>br>Without a doubt, this is the best pellet rifle I've ever seen or owned! EXACTLY the same weight, appearance, and feel as a Ruger 10/22 rifle.
OK. about it: It runs on C02 and can hold up to TWO C02 cartridges at once. They go in under the butt plate, with the first facing forward and the second facing backward, and the butt plate has a built-in wrench for opening and closing the gas plug. It's fantastic to have a rotary magazine! It's a great deal of fun. You'll need to order extra magazines (I did, and they're on their way. )br>br>I installed the scope mount/plate (not included/purchased separately) and an old Simmons 4x32 scope I had in the gun cabinet right out of the box. I sighted it in with only 6 rounds of Crosman Magnum Premier Domed Pellets and then sat back to see how it performed. (as seen in the photos) Exceptionally accurate, if not better. ACCURATE EVERY TIME! Specific guns usually prefer/shoot better with a particular type/brand of ammunition. This gun fires the same amount of whatever you feed it! (although I did find the Crossman Premier domed pellets to be slightly more consistent in terms of accuracy)br> When placing pellets in the magazine, seat depth is a BIG KEY to accuracy. As a result, take your time and make sure the pellets are seated properly. br>br>I've tried several air/C02 rifles in recent weeks, and this is the ONLY one I think is accurate enough to keep! If you like/enjoy pellet rifles, this is the rifle for you. THIS IS THE ONE YOU MUST HAVE! Now. Keep an eye out for the squirrels and gophers that frequent my property!.

a sense of dependability On April 24, 2020, I received this gun and it appeared to be in good condition
3/5

However, the first time I used it, the magazine jammed and I was unable to remove it. You might be able to get out, but you'd ruin the gun, which I didn't want to happen. It will occur again if it occurs once. I've owned pellet guns from a variety of manufacturers in the past and have never had this problem, so I won't be purchasing another from Umarex.

You will never own a better pellet rifle
4/5

I have a Ruger 10/22 and recently added a Ruger pellet to my collection. I've never owned a better pellet long gun than this one. It uses two CO2 cartridges, each of which lasts for 100 shots or more. To sight in, you'll need some patience and a steady trigger, so bring a jeweler's screw driver. It is difficult to load pellets into a rotary "clip. " Once loaded, however, it fires as soon as the trigger is pulled. Purchase additional rotary clips. br> I have ten, so I can reload in seconds with 80 pellets. Also, get the steel targets that make a "pinging" sound when they are hit. Days of fun and an excellent way to teach our next generation how to use a firearm. It has a lot of power, and it can embed a pellet in a wood fence as well as go right through it. br>Because CO2 cartridges do not last overbite, remove them as soon as the event is finished.

excellent quality I like it because it is light, has good power, is inexpensive, and is simple to load
5/5

It comes with one magazine, but you can buy another separately. I started using red dot, but it works well with the sights that come with it. It also does not make a lot of noise, so I'm looking for a suppressor to make it quieter.

will not be able to contain air Why didn't the two carts with one drop of oil per cyl keep pressure overnight? There was also no sound of air seeping
3/5

My crossman is going to be able to hold air for months at a time. Now it's a hassle to get back. I've reached out to Umarx for help, but if that doesn't work, I'll go back to Amazon. br>update: service department contacted me and informed me that the crossman c02 carts do not seal well due to the incorrect neck size, and that UMAREX c02 carts should be used instead. Also, the service department stated that the gun was not designed to hold pressure overnight, and that the carts should be shot and removed. At $111, it's a fairly inexpensive gun with a maximum range of about 15 yards. The crossman 1077 is a better value at $77.

Part of the gun is missing, it jams easily, and the repair time is unknown
3/5

With this gun, I've had a lot of problems. It came without an important part, so I contacted the manufacturer, and they promptly sent the missing part, which is known as a "puncture screw" and secures the two CO2 cartridges that propel the pellet. I was able to load the gun and shoot 25 pellets after receiving the puncture screw and additional pellet magazines. Before the gun became hopelessly jammed, I fired 30 pellets. After days of attempting to clear the jam, I sent it back to Umarex for repair. Umarex was unable to clear the jam and stated that they would send a replacement as soon as one became available from the factory. It's possible that it'll take a while longer. It's a nice gun, but it's not for serious shooters.

awsome
5/5

I own a Ruger 10-caliber pistol. Knowing how good the 22 rifle is, I decided to give this pellet rifle a try. The best way to put it is that it's absolutely fantastic. It's just as precise as the 10-point scale. 22 (I did have to make some minor changes to the site, which took about 2 minutes. ) ) shoots as fast as a pellet rifle, you can't tell the difference between the two, and it's hard to believe you can get this performance from a pellet rifle. Very strong. I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in this case. br> Best of luck on your hunt!.
