A key is included in the package. A key can be used to lock the lock, but a hand can also lock it. It locks the box using the traditional hand lock when you first turn the key, then it switches to the key lock when you turn it a bit further. You cannot use the hand unlocking method if it is key locked.
There is a small size difference between the 52 Micro and the 52. It may be of interest to you to try the 56 Micro Case as it has an interior space of approximately 4" wide by 8" long. I highly recommend the case, which has a 2"D sleeve so you can store your cables, wallet, etc. I will recommend it next time I need to charge my phone.

This little box is an absolute masterpiece of It's not clear to me why so many people on here give this bad ratings, saying, "this is small" or "what would I even use this for omg it's so small. ". I would force them to read the dimensions to clarify this problem. Besides this is incredibly well made, so it would be better to just replace it with a larger size rather than damaging the reputation of this product. " Almost every 1 star rating I've seen has been due to the customer lacking basic knowledge. There is nothing better than a little box that does just what it says, and more importantly, its size EXACTLY LINES UP WITH IT. Since I happened to need one, I was thrilled to find something that is this small yet still has the ability to hold up for hours before degrading. As someone who has had it and used it for almost a month, I can say with confidence that it's completely waterproof (up to 4 feet for at least 2 days), airtight, and incredibly This product is exceptionally good, so I am disappointed that one star ratings are assigned.
