Although the seal appears to be damaged, I am not sure if it is still waterproof. While the case feels sturdy and fits my weapon comfortably, I'm a bit disappointed since it appears to be a Plano, which is known for being of better quality. The replacement I need has a better seal, so I hope I can obtain one.
I have to buy this case a second time since the first one had a big hole near the wheels, I exchanged it with Amazon and they sent me a new one before I had time to send in my defective case, and I had to buy this one again! When a case this thick breaks, how is it possible for it to be so damaged? While I've read a good deal about Plano and Pelican, I see that the quality is so bad. Do not get me wrong, I thought that case was amazing. I liked the lockless latching on two of the four latches on the case that removed the need for a separate lock. The entire package looks and feels wonderful, but when you have back to back cases damaged in such a profound way after they should have just been purchased, it really turns you doubt the reliability and quality of Plano cases. The case I had initially ordered on behalf of both my Mossberg 500 scorpion and my Benelli M4 was very excited for me to have, however after experiencing this I opted for the Vault case from Pelican, and am very satisfied with it. When coming from a company as well known as Plano, this is highly disappointing.

Everything was completely loose in the box. I bought this for both my rifle and pistol it was great. The ammo I used for airsoft is not cheap, so I am trying to get into that, since regular ammo is so expensive. As for the quality, it is the best I have ever seen. It seems that the case was well made. One star is taken away for the fact that the silicone gasket which goes inside the cover and is supposed to be round and weatherproof has flat spots and is pinched. My call to Plano was answered and I was told they would send a new gasket to me. There is more than enough room in the gun case for my AR-15 The magazines and other accessories number in the fifteen.
There is a picture of a 36" case that is described as being on wheels This isn't the case. The description for the 52" version of this case just emerged on Amazon - it states that the only version with wheels is the 52". I ordered it back in August and it hadn't arrived yet. But, that deal isn't the only thing to think about. The breaker looks ugly black when it's meant to be a light grey. However, it is still a minor issue.
