Selected User Reviews For Allen Company Eliminator Shotgun Case, Olive Tan, 52" (820-52)

The case lining is made of a poor quality material
3/5

I wanted to love this case. That's the first thing I'd like to say. (From an aesthetic perspective, it is by far the best looking case I've really want to love it, but the material they use to make the inner liner looks very poor quality to me. The paper almost feels like a thin paper towel or filter. This item arrived with tears and rips on the inside fabric (Coffee filters are stronger). However, you can see that the material is thin and fragile. It would have been better if they had used a cotton fabric on the inside like they did on the outside. This case did not even last 2 minutes out of the box with either "easy clean lining" or "easily cleaned inside".
I just cannot comprehend why a company would spend the time to design a good case and then use such substandard materials. Although putting the liner into a gun socket for protection would actually prolong its lifespan, I don't see how it would last for one season.
I'm so sad! The Allen Company products look and feel great, and they are well designed. What do they think about this? Do they read it? I would appreciate a review of the statement Ensure that the products you use and endorse are of good quality. It's a good thing Amazon has such a generous.

After I put a shotgun in the first time, the lining tore
3/5

The tags on the case still attached to my shotgun, I hopped in and started shooting During the first day of usage, the rod handle caught the case's liner in one of the quiltings and ripped the interior to shreds. No custom work was done to the gun, it was a Beretta a390 with a normal factory operating grip,.

I think the case is well worth This thing cost me 18 dollars, which is half of what I would have had to pay in a local gun store
4/5

I prefer the green and orange over the one pictured even though the color was wrong. It is understandable why people complain that the liner is cheap and will rip easily, however mine has held up very well so I don't believe that it should rip if you open the liner more deeply and place it in rather than slide it in. The barrel of my over under is 28" long, so it fits it perfectly. You cannot beat the price of this set when you include the pockets and choke tube holder.

You have garbage
3/5

I ripped the inside of my Benelli after putting it together for the first time. You have garbage. I put my Benelli Montefeltro in it for the very first time, and it ripped the inside. The dumpster is in the middle of the street. There are no Allen gun cases to be purchased It is all lined with fabric that is easily torn and extremely brittle. It is worthless.

I love the case, but it has a flimsy There are pockets on it, and I love them! While the overall design and feel of the bag are excellent, the interior lining is thin and weak
4/5

I managed to tear up the inside of my shotgun in just a short amount of time, after the barrel and charging handle ripped up the inside. I think rifles are a better choice. Your weapon may need an edge protector or some kind of foam to prevent sharp edges from catching.

This Allen Eliminator Shotgun Case measures 52" x 12" and contains 54 compartments
3/5

The design is decent, but the construction is marginal. For $26, this seems like a good investment. It was located and purchased as a replacement for a 48" Beretta A300 Outlander. It The pros are Design of a decent conceptual nature. This bag has two large pockets on both sides where accessories can be stored. One of the best features of this case is that it fits easily in the pocket, and that's why I bought it sight This website has a good design in terms of colors and aesthetics. There is adequate padding, but it is There is no excessive density in this book, it is comfortable. There's plenty of room for shotguns, but not for rifles with scopes or sights. The following cons It appears that craftsmanship is not as good as one would have One of the pocket flaps is loose and Velcro is weak on handles and handles on the flaps on the pocket This is worse than anything seen or owned on similar products. This is because the cushioning is not stitched through the lining A shifting of the padding causes an unequal alignment of the lining. It was disappointing. The padding is not as dense and protective as the other Allen products that we own. You can take it to the range, but do not stack it on top There is a problem with alignment structural integrity As the case rotates, the torque, shift, or twist is generated on the front. The problem is not such that it is a protection issue, but is odd to carry, and has an effect on Having only used the device a few times in the first three weeks, it was unfortunate From the snap of the shotgun bolt handle the lining tore (? It was disappointing. The device does not have a strap or the capacity to add a standard strap for carry. There are other products at similarly low price points that are also available (Plano, etc. ). Not sure if this particular case is a lemon, but I would not recommend it. Allen has handled other cases for me and I'm happy with them. The pockets are a great plus, but the brief fell a little short. The majority of the times, it does what it's supposed to do.
