This is a fantastic keyblade, and it's probably the best value for money on Amazon. Since I was about ten years old, I've been a huge Kingdom Hearts fan. I'm 20 now, and I was swinging it around and grinning as if it were something my 10-year-old self would understand. br> The entire Keyblade is made of metal, from top to bottom. This is not your typical cosplay keyblade made of PVC and EVA foam. That's why it's more expensive than the other keyblades on this page. It has a fantastic paint job. It has a lustrous, silky sheen to it. It doesn't appear to have been painted with low-cost paint. br> The handle isn't wrapped in leather or has any other decorations. There's nothing more to it than a nice, even coat of paint. So if your hands start to sweat, you'll have to hold on tight because this thing is heavy. I'd say it's about 3 or 4 pounds, about the same as a baseball bat. br> The key is exactly 41 inches long as advertised. It's large enough that it won't make a big guy look small. The handle guard spins a little bit, but not too much. The chain that emerges from the pommel is similar to a necklace chain. It's not particularly thick, but it won't snap if you give it a gentle tug. br> King Mickey has a thin sheet metal silhouette. Mine arrived with one side scuffed up, as if it had been rushed. However, as a result of this, I received it a few days after placing my order. And I'm grateful for the speed with which it arrived. I was eager to take it out of the box and play with it. br> There are far more benefits than drawbacks. My review is replete with advantages. With the exception of one, the only disadvantages I have are personal. And then there was the scuffed-up Mickey Mouse silhouette. Personally, I wish they had done something to keep the handle from spinning. Welding or pinning it in place is a possibility. But, in the future, I'll do it on my own. Another personal preference is for the key part and handle guard to be thicker, in order to better represent the real thing. That one is entirely subjective and based solely on my own personal experience. If these components were thicker, I'd gladly pay more. However, I understand that this was most likely done to save money. br> This is an excellent all-around Keyblade, and I strongly advise you to get one if you're in the market for one. br>Another thing to keep in mind is that If they decide to make more keyblades based on the Kingdom Hearts games, I'd gladly purchase more. Fenrir's, Masters' keeper, or King Mickey's keyblade, for example.
This is an excellent key blade. It's all made of light metal, which is likely why it's so expensive. br>It's not the best for swinging around, but it's a very nice and detailed key blade. (You can still try to swing it around if you want)br>My only issue is that the mickey mouse keychain that swings around on the end makes a ringing "cling" sound whenever I pick it up. Just don't mess with it while others are sleeping.
The seller is in good standing. It is the product. Okay, that's fine. This was purchased as a gift for my gaming brother. The handle's yellow section spins, and the back chain is made of flimsy metal that broke off first, and that part didn't look good to begin with. However, I liked that it was made of metal rather than foam.
