This watch is a fantastic addition to any golfer's wardrobe. When you activate the golfing function, the watch automatically locates you on the course, locates the hole you are on, and, if the sensors are paired, automatically recognizes the club you are using. If you don't have the sensors, you'll have to tell your watch which club you're using each hole. However, if you have sensors, it's a lot easier because the watch recognizes when you pick up the club. All you have to do now is tell the watch when each hole is completed. I really like this watch because the stats are automatically transferred to your phone and the Garmin website.
Although the S62 is pricey, it is well worth the money. It takes a little getting used to how it works on the course, as with any new gadget, but after 6 or 7 holes, I had the hang of it. I used it in conjunction with the CT10 censors to record the club automatically - and that, too, went off without a hitch. br>br>As for the Caddy feature, I haven't yet completed the required 5 rounds (it needs this to understand your game and distances), but it was a great help around the course even without it. It also provides excellent feedback in the app after each round. Just from that first round analysis, I learned a lot about some of my flaws. It is suggested that you make minor adjustments to your game in order to improve your score. br>br>I have to say, I've been very pleased with it thus far. It's also very light on the wrist, with a soft and flexible strap. Fits over the top of your golf glove and does not obstruct your grip. At times, I had to double-check that I was still wearing it. I had previously played with an Apple watch and had to take it off because it got in the way of the glove and swing, among other things.
The mobile app is simple to use, and pairing the golf club sensors was also straightforward. On the course, it's extremely accurate!.
This is an excellent purchase. It's a nice looking watch, and the app tracks all of my shots. Very nice accuracy to within 3 yards of laser yardage. Charge lasts for days.
This watch did exactly what I needed it to do. After each round, I can look over my stats.
I like the multi function because it allows me to do so many things.
