A slim and attractive device that is exactly what I've been looking for
5/5

Update February It has held out for a long time. It appears to be in good working order. Nothing to worry about.

The initial dose after 1 week On a screen that is easy to view, this device measures cadence, speed, distance, time, heart rate, and calories burned. In addition, it has two types of LEDs on the front high beams, mid beams, and blinking beams. Having a simple installation is important. The sensor and magnet should be close enough for the sensor to work. Using it on my bike trainer in the house brought me good results. I have no worries about the sensors even though my bike frame is curved. The sensors/magnets and the point of contact are separated by rubber, as well as the magnet attached to the crank set by a very mild sticky adhesive. Using a Polar FT7 heart rate monitor that does not use ANT+, I do not have any issues with the signals from my Polar FT7 or Raptor II Pro interfering with the Raptor II Pro's signals. I have an aerobar on my side mount, which I am grateful for, since I have an aerobar on my image. In this kit, you will not find a center mount. My favorite part of this device is its ability to incorporate many functions at once.

I am having trouble reading the cadence The device is compact, the screen is easy to read, the instructions are simple to follow, the speed and distance seem to be accurate, and the light is bright enough to use day or night
5/5

According to the directions, all gaps were measured to ensure a proper fit. There is intermittent and variable cadence reading that reads twice the actual cadence and then back to the actual cadence as well. Between these two readings it bounces back and forth. After three weeks of emails, I still haven't heard from customer service. In my second attempt, I was unable to contact anyone, my email was returned as undeliverable, but there was no response. Do you know of any other customers who have had trouble reading the cadence? Would you mind letting me know how to contact customer service? I would give this a higher rating once I resolve I have covered everything you need to know and then some. There is still a problem with customer service Despite three attempts, customer service was unable to be reached. Due to that fact, I would be uncertain about purchasing this item.

Update The company has responded and has sent a new sensor and magnet, and the device now functions perfectly and accurately as expected. You should contact Evey at evey with any problems you may be experiencing. Email zhan@shanrentech. com. A very helpful person can be found at www. com. Thanks a lot.

There's no wire! Simple and easy to use! The set up was very easy, even for a newbie like me
5/5

In all, it took me about 15 minutes to mount the Unit and the three sensors, and about 10 minutes to set up the Cycling Computer. There are a number of Raptor II Pro tutorials available on YouTube. You can choose from several companies to help you in the process of setting up your computer and mounting it

Plain language suggestion 2- Ensure that the zip ties on the crank are bigger than standard zip ties Take the plastic barrier out of the crank's battery cavity before you start the crank up.

The specs are amazing for the price
5/5

The quality is great as well. It is functional. A durable product! Lenix says he loves it
I was blown away by this bike computer on June 18, 2016. The raptor I, as well as this newer one, the raptor two, are both in my possession. Between this version and its predecessor, the most notable difference is the battery capacity and a feature many users love Tracking of the completion of a course. On the pedal as well as on the back wheel, there is a sensor, and the sensor communicates wirelessly via a two-inch transmitter. A wireless sensor that operates at 4GHz. I would only add GPS tracking if it were available. The heart rate monitor is also included. The problem is that not everyone uses GPS, (which would make the device more expensive) and a lot of cyclists use Strava(tm) to track their rides. When it comes to heart rate monitors, I think a more advanced cyclist would probably choose the Garmin(tm) EDGE® Series if they wanted an option in the high end price range. Shanren Raptor II is a great deal with great craftsmanship and high quality materials for its price point. As for the lighting, it is a pretty powerful light right inside of the device. The first raptor was a bit bulky, but still looked cool, this one looks even better. The built in LED light is unique, and has a better battery, more functionality. It says that the raptor II is waterproof, and I contacted Shanren and they said that it is IP65 certified, so it will still work after a rainy day, and it is dustproof as well. If you are looking for versatility in a bike computer, then I recommend this one entirely. Despite its fine products, customer service at this company is so great. I've communicated back and forth with customer service regarding new and upcoming devices, and they are always so nice and reply within a day or two. It is, by Japanese standards, Japanese work for a China [Hong Kong] based company.

The app is very good, but it could be made even better by making a few simple changes
4/5

I find it easier to read and it captures the sensor more precisely than my catseye. The bike computer will not be a good choice if you are trying to cut ounces. However, if you want a rechargeable, easy to read bike computer that provides good headlights, then this should work well for you. There is no end to the charge. It's a bad thing, but you cannot customize the screen to see only what you want, for example, when you're playing a game. Only speed and cadence can be seen, no heart rate monitor or calories. It does not read my Polar HR monitor and the signal from the sensors is too strong to work properly I do not have a heart rate of 240 bpm, but if my watch points toward the sensor, that's what it shows me. Upon receiving the sensor, the battery was dead. I emailed the seller at the time, and he promised to send a new one, but he To sum it all up, I have used quite a few bicycle computers and this is hands down the best.

Concept well thought out This is a very nice unit
4/5

There are still some areas of the software that need to be fixed. Since I started using the SHANREN Raptor II Wireless Bike Odometer a week ago, I have noticed that my daily commute has become more efficient. I can maintain a steady effort while riding with it, and remain honest about my efforts. I like that the light is as bright or brighter than any of my previous lights, which is crucial because over half of my commute time is during the dark hours, and that the speedometer is built into the same unit as the light so that there is no interference with the data from outside. just downloaded the Shanren Sport (App) (Android), however the app is not intuitive. After struggling to load my physical information, I was unable to complete the function because my weight would not change. During my next ride, I will consider testing any trip information. This is a great concept and a nice unit. However, I am uncertain whether any software capabilities are available.
