My Edge 1000 has it, and I use it with it. There is a picture I can send you if that is of use.
My understanding is that this mount is only intended for use with Garmin Except for one company called Qmadix, I'm not aware of any companies that make phone adapters. A few days ago, I ordered one online and it is working fine.
It has not been a problem for me. With my Garmin 1000 that has a nearly flat stem, I wrote a positive review on 5/5/16, and I'm still very pleased with the product. In order to move my 1000 back and forth between two bikes, I bought a second mount. Perhaps I am not understanding your problem, but are you sure the stem cap is properly secured to
You can tilt it, but its amount of play is greatly limited by the size of the device and the rise of the stem tube.

Renthal Apex 35 50mm stem I use is too short, so I was unable to use the mount as it came. However, I removed the screws and rotated the mount so that it sits next to As a result of the cheap and soft screws, I took off one star. It seemed that one of the heads had been stripped and that it hadn't been tightened enough. Despite being able to see both my bottle cap headset and computer, I still feel comfortable using it.
There were a couple of problems that caused me to return To install the adapter mount, the instructions indicate that one should remove a 5mm spacer from top of the fork tube and install the adapter mount over the top of the stem tube. The 5mm spacer is at the bottom of the stem tube under the handlebars, not on the top of the stem tube. Taking out that 5mm spacer from the bottom would negatively affect how the handlebars fit on my bike, as I would be leaning forward more. My other problem with mounting the K-caps was that they kept falling off There was interference with the top two stem mounting bolts on the top of the stem due to the edge adapter mount on the top of the stem In fact, this caused a rub between the bolts and Garmin's backside. I don't believe that some stem/handlebar mounts have bolts on top of them, which is not taken into consideration with the design of the adapter.
An example of a typical K-letter A product that is on the cutting edge of technology It is very beautiful, very functional, very well made, and very expensive. This style of mount is better than an "outfright" type mount, because it does not expose the GPS in a crash to as much risk. Additionally, if you ride at night the GPS will be protected from the glare of the headlight and free from a cluttered bar. The handlebar mount is easier to install/remove too, since it does not require that the grip, shifter, and brakes be removed like many other In spite of the worst terrain, it still securely holds the Garmin with no rattles, and still allows for easy 1/4 turn release. you plan on running your stem "positive" (pointing up as on most mountain/hybrid bikes), you may need to allow for an extra couple of spacers underneath your stem to clear it. No offset or angle is created by the mount itself "Zero degrees" means there are no sun rays. There is only one negative aspect to this product its price I didn't give it more than one star for that very reason It is a very expensive item.
With the Garmin Edge 520 mounted on a Thomson stem, this is an ideal combination. Garmin's built into my previous stem were too long for my new shorter stem, and I used to use the ones that came with my GPS. Since the mount would be fairly vulnerable in a crash, I did not want to put it in front of the bars. My computer works just fine with this. It can be set to hold the GPS exactly at the angle you request, and allows you to set the desired angle. This has been my ride for about 8 months now, and I have no.
So I upgraded to this and it worked great since the Yeti comes with a 5mm extension ring on top of the stem for a very comfortable fit It can be swapped out with the Edge mount. I went for an 8-mile test ride and had no problems. I like how well thought out and high quality the materials are.
There are several times in the past month where I found that my Garmin 520 was There is something strange going on. Yes, I'm mountain biking, but my hands are not doing this, nor are my legs or knees, because I would expect those to feel it and if my legs or knees are up around my stem, sure there is something wrong with me. It's only a matter of time before that dang thing jumps out of clip on its own as soon as the bike impacts No matter how it turns out, I am super upset and will start using the leash right now.
The way I have it set up. The Edge 1000 mount I bought fits well on As a crash is more likely to occur when the Edge is mounted over the stem, I needed to provide extra protection. There were problems with the 1/4 turn mount because it was mounted too low and the edge of the mount cut into the stem cap and Above the stem, this mount should be attached to the steerer tube To remove the 5mm spacer from underneath the stem, I had to take it out. It was my goal to angle the display to a better viewing angle that I bought the adjustable mount for. There is only a couple of degrees of adjustability before the Edge touches the steerer tube cap in my setup. I would give this mount a five-star rating if there was a second pivot point at its mounting location. It is made of high-quality materials and is very It is cheaper to get a non-refundable ticket It would have worked the same way in my case if I had used a pivoting mount. It may be necessary to use the pivoting mount for other setups. Other smaller Garmin units would be more adjustable than the Edge 1000 since it is the largest unit. Here is a product I recommend.
Whenever Edge products are available, they are of high quality. My Garmin 810 works well with this one, and it's nicely finished. The Garmin is handy to have in front of the stem of my diamond frame bike, and the adjustable angle is ideal for those days when the angle of the sun changes and makes it hard to read the Garmin. The K-meter did not work well on my recumbent bike, since it puts the Garmin in between my knees. However, this is not due to a shortcoming of the device, but rather to the nature of the bike. It is mounted to the edge of the stem.
