Questions & Answers

The stem of my mountain bike is extremely short, and I have a Garmin 830 with me. Is it possible to use this without ?

I've got an 80mm stem and a 530 and it works fine. Though I'm not sure how much larger the 830 is, I still have room on my desk for

The mount is included, as well as the insert that is pre-installed We've installed it. You can use the same cover and screw from your existing steerer tube. You will need one of the smallest spacers on your stem and steerer tube setup for this.

I installed this fixed mount on my Cervelo R3 at the perfect angle where the steering tube meets the steering tube
5/5

The mount is very well thought out and engineered. Considering the Garmin 1000 is mounted so close to the stem cap, the bottom of the unit rests maybe 2mm over it. does not matter if one wants to set up the Garmin in landscape mode, as setting it up in the mount would require it to be initially installed in the portrait position, where it would not fit squarely. I was able to use my fixed mount on my Cervelo R3 because the steering tube was at the perfect angle where the Garmin was positioned for maximum visibility - and minimal sun reflection.

Getting rid of the rubber band mount is a good idea
5/5

The rubber band mount was never easy to adjust back into place, so this little bit fixed that. Getting the cable to connect was relatively easy, but we needed to make sure there was enough steerer tube above the stem so that the cable would clear the stem/handlebar assembly. I could have done without the price, but it was the solution I needed. It has already survived a tumble off a large rock (Big Arse Rock) in less than a week, so its toughness gets an extra vote.

The rubber band Garmin mount should be thrown away
5/5

This is a great piece of equipment. It was exactly what I was looking for to mount the Garmin over the stem of my mountain bike. I was not impressed with the O-ring, however. You receive a Garmin ring mount as part of the package. The stem on my bike has a degree of 0 with a 90 mm diameter. The steerer tube of my new fork was 5 millimeters longer because I had just purchased a new fork. This mount is adjustable if you have a shorter stem. Either you need a longer steerer tube above the stem and a spacer or you need the additional adjuster.

It's so cute how it has an offset
5/5

Buying a K-series is the best decision I've made my body often contacts it on technical MTB I think this one will do the trick, and it appears to be a no-brainer. The stem cap might not clear the handlebar clamp, so you need to add some spacers beneath it.

This is a great piece of furniture with amazing design
5/5

The bike holder I ordered recently for my S Works Epic looks almost identical to the one I bought for my BMC road bike last year, which I enjoy the low profile form factor, excellent quality, and all-weather durability of. It was always a pleasure to work with As a future customer, I will definitely purchase more products from this manufacturer Edge.

The stem did not work for me
3/5

It's created well and a good idea, but because of the type of stem you use, it might not work. In my case, that was the We need the adjustable model because we have a different body type. As a result, both types keep the Garmin close to the Although it's a good way to protect it in a crash, it's really hard to see when you're looking down. By extending the arms, it puts it in a more convenient viewing position for.

In the edge of the ocean It's chicken dinner for the winner
4/5

It positions the Garmin so you can easily see it and is a solid mount that works well. This version will probably not work with riser stems. The following are two examples of how I have used it The number 10 and 0 I've been using it with 17 degree stems, and it's just right The stem would probably work just as well with a zero degree angle. There was only one issue with it, which isn't a big deal, since I didn't get it on straight before the first ride.
