Signal strength is not very strong. Thermometer is not working correctly. Zip cables that come with the computer are either too stiff or too thin to be used to mount the computer handlebar bracket. I wasn't sure about the rubber ring that came with it. Too much movement was allowed by the rubber ring. I used some thinner red zip cables that I had on hand, and they worked fine. After that, I covered the zip cables with the included rubber ring. According to the product, the distance between the wheel sensor and the main computer unit is 80mm. 80mm is just over 31" in length, which is insufficient for many bikes. Mine didn't work until I mounted it near the rim of my fork, 29" away from the main computer unit. I have to subtract a few degrees every time because the thermometer reads a few degrees too high.
This was an excellent purchase. The screen is large and simple to read. For each trip, it's simple to reset. It's dead on. I had someone drive their car behind me while I maintained a constant speed of 20 mph, and it was spot on. It's a lot more pleasant than my Bell.
I only kept track of my speed up to ten miles per hour. Any faster than that would show 0 mph and then jump around to different speeds under 10. I tried moving both the sensor and the display, but to no avail. I'm coming back.
I had to figure it out because the product didn't come with any instructions. However, it does not always work; sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not. br>It is not worth purchasing.
The trip computer worked great, with no issues connecting to the transmitter, a good interface, and a great backlit display (though the backlight won't stay on). br>br>However, the build quality could be better, as the side battery tab broke after only 15 rides, rendering the transmitter useless.
The speedometer and the odometer were both off! It just got progressively worse until it finally gave up! There was no difference after adjusting and replacing the battery! I'd like to have the option of returning it. It was only 60 days old when I received it!.
Very good.
After using other bike odometers, I found the Icocopro to be a simple and easy-to-read device. The operation is simple to grasp, and the information provided is exactly what I needed; this is an excellent device!.
