Since I am over 50, I would agree with you! Even the manual, however, is difficult to read. I'm looking to buy a compass and wanted to see how easy the manual would be to read after the seller provided a PDF file in response to your question. It turned out to be a letdown - Despite the fact that it must be a million times better than the original. The print isn't even a solid line when enlarged on a computer, so the manufacturer should probably re-print it. do something to their manual to make it a lot easier to read Is it easy to read the manual? Did you make a copy of it? Perhaps when it's printed, it'll look better.

A genuinely cool, and what appears to be a well-made military-style backpack. Compass for fashion. It has a lot of cool features that I really enjoy. Taking a bearing and sighting the compass are both simple tasks. The clear azimuth sighting lens, the really cool leveling bubble, and the fluorescent dial and arrow are all things I like. The carrying case is well-made. made, and it appears to be waterproof (or at the very least water-resistant). tenacious) – Overall, this should have been a fantastic purchase, and it would have been if it hadn't been for one flaw: When I compared it to four other compasses*, I discovered that it's about ten degrees off. This, in my opinion, renders it useless for any kind of serious navigation. *Where there is no counsel, the people fall: br>br>*Where there is no counsel, the people fall: However, there is security in the large number of counselors. 11th Proverb: Update - 14br>br> 24 May 18 First and foremost, let me state that my review was based on an honest assessment, and it is a truly cool and what appears to be a well-made military-style rifle. Compass for fashion. I really like how many useful features this compass has, and how simple it appears to be to use. To be honest, I didn't (and still don't) need another compass, but I really wanted to buy this one because it reminded me of one I saw in a book. My preliminary evaluations – which I repeated a number of times - I came to the conclusion that their compass was ten degrees off. degrees; I intended to send them an e-mail, as requested by the Sportneer Customer Satisfaction Team (in the review's comments section). I sent them an email detailing the issue I was having with their compass. However, before they write or send their e-mail, they should consider the following factors. I decided to go outside and repeat the tests I had done previously to determine the compass's accuracy. I got a different set of results this time. Perhaps I'm mistaking accuracy for inaccuracy because this compass makes sighting and reading the azimuth so simple (most compasses only have two degree increments instead of one). Since it appears that I was the one who made a mistake, I've updated my review to reflect this.
Beware, this product is not well made, as the sighting window is crooked, the lens prism is scratched, and it appears to show true north differently every time I use it! In addition, the item was filthy on the inside and out right out of the box, with the logo applied incorrectly. Furthermore, this is the pop-up that appeared when I attempted to return it. After having the product in my hands for two days, I came to the following conclusion: This item is not eligible for return. br>br> br>br>What the hell is going on here? Because I couldn't find this amusing fact anywhere on the website!
I truly cannot understand the positive reviews on the item, because it is total junk in my opinion, and not a trust worthy product.
Also, I should note Will I believe it if they refuse to let you return it? Guys, I'm talking about the geese. br>br>(Note: This is a shortened version of the original. ) When I contacted Amazon about the problem, they were very helpful. ).
I bought a few of these to keep in various vehicles as "get home" bags. You never know when you'll need a good compass, and these are relatively inexpensive insurance. Would I put this in my bug-out bag as a back-up? Not if I don't have to, but it makes a great compass in a "get home" bag for a short period of time. I was speaking with Jason Borne and John Wick the other day, and they both suggested that I get one of these for my own "get home" bag.
Every compasses I've ever purchased has been a sham. Sure, they all point north, which is the most basic function of a compass. This isn't your typical compass, though. This compass is the guinea pig's pig. It does, in fact, point north. Huzzah! However, it can also withstand a lot of abuse. It doesn't matter if it's water, dirt, mud, or xenomorph acid blood. It'll be no problem for this compass. When you're trying to get a bearing on altitude, landmarks, and so on, the laser sighting comes in handy.
There will be no refunds. 2 orders have been placed. 1 was broken when it arrived (the needle won't move unless you shake it, and it never points north). The compass's body is substantial, but the compass itself is made of low-cost Chinese plastic. It's as if a gumball machine toy was stuffed into a high-end case. Worst of all, there are no refunds.
This is the third compass I've purchased for my boy scout. The first was a five-star rating. REI has one. During his first camping trip, he misplaced a few pieces. The. A 6-year-old was the second one. Amazon has one. It was too small for him, he said. After that, there was this one. He has finally found happiness. It's well-made, heavy-duty, and of high quality. It had a profound effect on him. On his journey, he felt like a true tool. The disadvantage is that it is quite heavy, making it unsuitable for backpacking. However, it's ideal for car camping.
For someone with a lot of experience, this is a fantastic tool to have. To be honest, this is a very high-quality piece. I bought it for my son for Christmas so he could use it while camping, but I think it's far too advanced for him. Would be better suited to an adult who understands how to calibrate and appreciates all of the additional features. (I have no idea how to use it properly) But it is definitely worth the money! It comes with a carrying case and is quite heavy and solid. It looks like it'll last a long time, so maybe we'll be able to put it to good use in a couple of years.
