So far, everything has gone well. I recently upgraded to a 28in 18oz bat, which has a nice pop and sound. Our previous bat, an Easton Speed 27in 17oz, is compatible with this one. The Rawlings 5150 and the Louisville 619 were two of the bats we tested. The Velo was soon the most popular.

For the money, this is a fantastic bat. At first contact, the sound is intimidating, there is a lot of "pop," the sweet spot is large, and it is durable.
