Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this bat in the winter?

Yes, this is possible. My son uses it in all kinds of weather. In my opinion, this is a fantastic bat.

Is it necessary to break in this bat? What is the time frame for this?

Yes, it is necessary to break in a composite bat. I usually hit a couple of buckets of balls at 50-plus miles per hour with these bats. 70% effort off the tee, 1/4 turn of bat following each swing to break it in evenly Then a couple more buckets off the tee, this time at a slightly faster pace. Bp in the cage after that.

Is this bat approved for use in the United States of America?

Yes, this is the stamped model from the United States of America.

Is this a bat that is well-balanced? What is the actual weight, not the declared weight?

It's possible that these bats are "middle-aged." "This year is loaded," says the narrator. This indicates that they are unbalanced and unloaded. Sorry, but I have no idea what this bat's actual weight is. It probably varies from bat to bat, but it shouldn't be more than a half-ounce difference.

Selected User Reviews For Louisville Slugger 2019 Prime 919 (-10) 2 5/8" USA Baseball Bat

Bat, you are amazing! This bat is a big hit with my 7-year-old grandson! Yesterday, he hit 200 pitches from a pitching machine
5/5

The sting of this bat is completely non-existent! I also believe that balls travel further with this bat than with his previous LS 618 Solo. We're thrilled that Louisville Slugger has finally released their best two-piece composite bat that meets the USA Bat standard; it's a pricey bat for a 7-year-old, but we believe it'll be well worth it. The 28"/18 oz size was the one we chose.

It's a good investment! My 8-year-old has benefited greatly from this bat
5/5

(I was given the number 28. ) He is slightly underweight and short in stature)br>1. His self-assurance has increased as a result of this. I wanted to get him a decent bat to help him because he isn't an all-star player and is only just learning the game. He is afraid of the pitching machine, but as soon as he received this bat, he was eager to put it to use, and he hit the ball on both of his first two attempts.
2. There is a small amount of shock. Okay, so my son is a whiner, but he never complained about the jolt that occurs when the bat strikes the ball. And, to be honest, I was curious as well, so I hit a few balls with it (at a kid pitch speed and with a kid's strength) and was surprised at how smooth it felt; as my husband put it, "I couldn't even tell I hit the ball" due to the lack of vibration.
3. To add to his self-assurance, he was hitting the ball further than he had ever hit it before. br>br>A good bat is expensive, and it can be difficult to decide whether or not to spend the money on one when you have small children. Even if your child outgrows the bat, it is well worth the small investment if you believe they will play again in the future. I rarely buy new editions, preferring to buy ones that are at least a year old (as this one was at the time of purchase). In most cases, this reduces the value of a bat from 350 to 100 dollars. a hundred and fifty dollars It is worth the $100 investment for me because of how much it helps my son (both in terms of confidence and how he plays). Good gear can make a big difference in how much fun you have while participating in an activity.

This bat is outstanding
5/5

My last little leaguer needed a bigger bat, so I read all the reviews and debated whether to get this or the CF. Quattro. Last year, he used a Solo 619, which he liked, but he had some hand string issues with that single-piece bat. This Prime was on sale, and my older boys really liked the 918 Prime, so we bought it. I'm sure the other two are fantastic, but I can assure you that this bat is outstanding. There's a lot of space between you and the sweet spot. It never stung my child or half of his team's hands - not once. Comparatively speaking, there was plenty of power, and it's well-balanced with a light swing weight. With this USA Baseball bat, Louisville did an outstanding job.

When compared to the bats of less expensive teammates, there isn't much pop
3/5

This is a bat that I would not buy again. It doesn't seem to have much of a pop to me. On his team, I'm having my son try out various bats in the hopes of finding something with a little more pop. It's been 6 weeks since he's used it, and I'd think he'd have broken it in by now. It's possible that it hasn't been broken in yet and will improve with time, but he's had 200-plus hours of sleep. It's had 300 hits (games, practice, tee, bp) and still doesn't have enough pop. I'm not sure if it's faulty or simply not broken in yet.

This bat has a lot of pop to it
5/5

This bat from bbcor is fantastic. My 11-year-old son loves that he doesn't get the sting in his hands that he does with aluminum bats today. With this bat, he's hitting the ball further. He has two Louisville slugger bats, a 618 and a 619, with which he does not hit as far. Several of his teammates began to use this bat and eventually purchased one for themselves. Great bats are made by Louisville Slugger.

So far, the best little League USA bat
5/5

Because my son is ten years old, this is the best bat we've seen since they switched to USA bats. It's got a lot of character. The entire All-Star team of my son Because their bats appeared to be dead in comparison to it, the star team began to use it.

Standard bat from the United States that provides comfort and quality performance
4/5

This is by far the best of the USA bats that have been used. Depending on the tournament, my son alternates between the USSSA and the USA. For him, this feels the most like a USSSA bat. USAQuattro, USACF Zen, USAGhost, and USABeast pro are the bats that have been used. My son claims that it is a comfortable bat that performs well.

This is the best bat on the market
5/5

We bought this bat because we were told it doesn't sting when kids hit it, and both of my boys were afraid they wouldn't be able to hit as hard as they could otherwise. They both used this bat in their most recent game and didn't miss a single ball. By a wide margin, this is the best bat available. We're saving up for a second one because the first is so expensive, but it's well worth it.
