It's not a good idea to take a small bat through airport security! This bat was purchased to replace one that had been confiscated by airport security due to its presence in our carryon luggage

It was a gift for a 9-year-old baseball fan who collects miniature bats from parks around the country. He was upset when security took the bat, but when this replacement arrived, Amazon put a smile back on his face. If you collect mini bats, you already know what to expect and that you should check your souvenir bats rather than carrying them on the plane. It was a good lesson. the difficult way.

Solid wood and well-made

I bought this as a safety device for the office and car, but it's also very cute! Excellent craftsmanship, well-made, and small enough to be hidden. It will, however, inflict pain on anyone foolish enough to start a fight with you! The size is ideal for backpacks.

The bat is quite small. This would have been better if it had been a little bigger; it's too small to hang on a wall and look good. However, at $10, it's a pretty good deal.

It's ideal for indoor snowball fights

Indoor baseball games and home run derbies in the living room are played with these and indoor snowballs. So far, no one has been hurt or anything has been broken. as a result of being hit by a snowball or an indoor baseball. If used as a weapon, the bat could be dangerous, but it has only hit baseballs thus far. It keeps the grandkids occupied and their Little League skills sharp during the off-season.

The color of the wood is not blue

Although it isn't a deal breaker, all of the bats pictured are blue or another solid color, whereas the one I received is light wood colored. It was a dark color that drew my attention, so I bought it. It's still useful for what I want, but if they're going to be wood toned, I don't think they should show them all as a different solid color.
