Selected User Reviews For Louisville Slugger 2019 Solo 619 (-11) 2 5/8" USA Baseball Bat, 29"/18 oz

This bat cost just over $60 after taxes when I bought it in July of 2020
5/5

That's less than a third of the original retail price, which is a fantastic deal. The Solo 619 is essentially a re-imagined version of the original Solo 619. The Solo 618 skin is a popular version of the Solo 618. While some people still prefer the 618, most bat review websites have compared the two and concluded that the 619 slightly outperforms it. br>br>While this is unquestionably the best single-player experience available, Under $200 for a two-piece aluminum USA bat, it does have a small sweet spot, especially in the shorter lengths. The sweet spot on a 28-inch bat may only be 5-inches wide. 6 inches. Younger players may not be able to consistently hit the ball with a barrel that large. br>br>However, at a third of the full retail price, it's a much better deal than the Slugger Solo 2020, which costs $180.

I bought the 29/18 for my 9-year-old son, and he absolutely adores it! This bat has a great grip and is lightweight, with a lot of pop for its size
5/5

A heavier bat is required for more pop, but this bat is excellent for contact. The only thing to remember is to keep an eye out for different pricing for different sizes; don't pay more than $100 because prices are constantly changing. $70. 00 would be a fantastic price. 100.

On a miss-hit, it has some pop and stings the hands
4/5

hit with a good return on investment I read some reviews about this bat and discovered that it was known to sting the hands quite badly on miss-hits. hits. It's true, based on my children's reactions. Good hits, on the other hand, are very comfortable and, despite being -, have a lot of pop. This bat is a good value in my opinion, as it has a rating of 11 out of ten. There are no regrets when it comes to kid pitches that are 50 mph or slower. Going 29 isn't an issue - 11 vs. 28 is a matchup between two teams. In either case, use a 10 (18 oz) bat. In fact, having an extra inch of reach has proven to be beneficial.

Solid bat, one of the best in the United States of America
4/5

This was purchased to replace my son's 618 solo, which was too small for him. For him, the 618 was a well-balanced bat, and he feels the same way about this one. It has a very well-balanced feel to it. The only drawback is that the grip is no longer Lizard Skin, and it now appears to be thinner. That was immediately apparent to my son. He was all smiles the rest of the time.

Nice bat
5/5

With this bat, Son 9 went 10 for the first time. After two seasons with an Omaha bat, he switched to a Rawlings bat last year and returned to Louisville for the 2020 season. Although it has yet to be used in a game, it looks good in the cage on the tee and in practice on the field. It has a nice level swing and a nice pop on impact, and I'm happy with it so far.

Vibrations are extremely high
3/5

After reading reviews, I bought it for my son. Despite using padded tape and wearing gloves, he could not hit the ball without injuring his hands. I used it for two weeks before purchasing a composite bat for him (which he has had no problems with). I've purchased a number of other one-piece bats in the past and have heard nothing but positive things about this one, but I'd gladly return it if the opportunity arose. It was most likely a waste of money because it was used.

It's a hit with my son! Baseballs from 2021 are being smacked into the outfield by the 2019 model! A fantastic purchase!

It's not too strong, but it stings a little
4/5

It hurts a lot when you're taking batting practice on a machine.
