Questions & Answers

Customers stated in the reviews that Demarini does not provide warranties for bats purchased on Amazon. If it's a brand new bat, this shouldn't be the case. Is that correct?

An authorized dealer is required to purchase the bat. The bat is covered by Demarini's warranty as long as the seller is an authorized dealer through the Amazon store. When filing a warranty claim, that authorized dealer must be identified as the seller. I've seen a few people say it's heavier than it claims to be. Some argue that it isn't the case. I'm not sure if this is a drop 12 or 10. ?

The product is marketed as a drop 12. The one I bought, however, is 28-inch tall. inch drop 12 weighs in at 18 lbs. 6oz. So that's a tenth of a drop. My son, on the other hand, enjoys it. It's in a good spot.

Is this bat approved by the Little League?

Yes, both the Little League and the Pony League have given their approval. It's a USA bat, and it's the best lightweight bat I could find.

It's a drop 10 bat, but it's heavy
3/5

My children have owned a number of DeMarini bats, and the company produces excellent bats in general. However, this bat is quite heavy; when I first got it, I weighed it and it weighed 19 oz (29" bat). When I inquired about this, I received a detailed explanation from customer service within hours, stating that the bat's weight is determined by the swing weight or centripetal force, and that the scale weight is "a bit irrelevant. " " So I took it out of the package and gave it to my 8-year-old son to try out. He, on the other hand, disliked it and described it as "heavy. " Despite my assurances that the weight was "relatively insignificant," his tiny arms felt heavy. We tried to adjust, but he always chose the opposing team's bat when batting in games, despite the fact that it was only 17 ounces. When I followed up with DeMarini after a month or so, they told me that I couldn't get a refund at first because we had tried it out. After some persuasion, I returned it under warranty. They didn't even look at it before sending me a replacement, according to them. 18 7/8 oz is the replacement. Awesome! I suppose I should be grateful for the decrease in weight. br>I'm not sure why a company would mislabel a bat and then refuse to stand behind it.

Much more substantial than the product description suggests
3/5

This 28- The weight of an inch bat is 18. 6 oz. , which is significantly more than the advertised weight. It's a ten-point drop, not a twelve-point drop. My son, on the other hand, enjoys the bat and it appears to have a good sweet spot. He claims it is lighter than his other bats, which is likely due to the weight distribution being more balanced in the handle and less heavy in the barrel.

Bat is pretty good
4/5

My son has used the bat in numerous batting practices as well as three games. I thought I had wasted my money at first because my son couldn't get the ball out of the infield during batting practice or games. Last season, he was a decent hitter when hitting off a pitching machine, using the Rawlings Quatro t-ball bat. He would always hit the ball to the outfield with the ball bat off the machine. br>br>In the third game of the season, he blasted a hit all the way to the outfield, with the ball ending up near the 200 ft fence. It was a walk-off grand slam. Bat sting is reduced by the bat, but not completely. Mishits continue to sting my son's bat. The only flaw is the small barrel, but my son and a few other team members have used this bat to find the ball.

This is a bat that should not be purchased
3/5

I had the bat for about two months when it broke in half! I can't get a refund from Wilson, which owns DeMarini, because I bought the bat on Amazon rather than from them directly.

Dangerous and with flaws in the design
3/5

The feel of this bat appealed to my ten-year-old son. We purchased it in January 2020, but due to the late start of baseball, we have only been using it for about two months. During batting practice, the bat's head flew and my son was left holding the handle. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but the building had a serious flaw. This vendor advised us to contact DeMarini, but we were unable to do so because the vendor's phone number was busy, and the queue stated that there were too many callers overloading the system.

Sweet Spot is a term used to describe a location that is I ordered the 28" bat from you, and I'm very happy with it
5/5

My seven-year-old likes it because it has a lot of pop and a big sweet spot. He's hit off the end of the bat a few times and the ball still travels well. This Demarini bat outperforms the Louisville Solo 619 in every way.

This is a piece of junk
3/5

My 12-year-old had it for about a month before it finally cracked in half when we went out for BP the other day. He is not a particularly large kid and prefers to hit line drives. We just got the 30" model after he used a smaller version for a few years. I contacted Just Bats and requested a UPS shipping label to return it to DiMarini. I had to file a claim with DiMarini, so we'll see how long it takes to resolve this now that baseball season is just getting started. In the meantime, we'll have to get him a new bat.

Nice bat
5/5

This bat is quite nice. It's the lightest bat you'll find made in the United States. My son is six years old, stands four feet tall, and weighs fifty pounds. (Y'all and skinny) I got the 27/15, which appears to be a good fit for him. The ball has a good bounce off the bat. I can tell the difference between this bat and the ones from last year.
