Questions & Answers

Is this compatible with Windows 10 on a HP laptop?

Kaito V3 is compatible with computers running Windows 10, 8, and 7. 1,8,7, and Mac are some of the most popular computer operating systems. The only thing you'll need is a laptop with a disc drive. This product will not work on a Mac Book Air because it does not have a disc drive, but it will work on a Mac Book Pro and other Mac computers.

Is it possible to use this in the v4 editor?

Yes, only in V4 do I use him. It has no effect on his performance, and the pitch snap feature suits him well.

Is this program compatible with Mac OS X?

The system requirements suggest a number of ten. 7. However, you can always give it a shot and see what happens. If not, you SHOULD be able to get a free upgrade to the most recent version of your operating system. Alternatively, if you simply want to increase your score to ten, you can do so. It will only cost you $20 to meet the bare minimum requirements.

Selected User Reviews For Vocaloid3 KAITO V3 [Japan Import]

It's without a doubt KAITO
5/5

This is something I bought because I thought it would be entertaining and simple to use! (and because I've been a KAITO fan for a long time, but that's beside the point. ) ) His box was in PERFECT condition when he arrived, with no dents or scratches. However, after installing him, I discovered that piapro studio did not work, and that the Vocaloid3 editor that came with him is difficult to use and limited. You can only add 16 (I believe) vocal measures, and he sounds a little more feminine than KAITO V1. I'd get his V1 if it's still available, but he's perfect aside from a few minor technical issues.

Vocaloid voicebank of the highest quality! Because I don't have any other male singer libraries, I was particularly interested in Kaito V3
5/5

Three discs are included with him. His voice banks JPN Straight, JPN Soft, JPN Whisper, and finally English are found in two of them. One is for Windows installations, while the other is for Mac installations. Studio 2 Artist Piapro Edition is found on the final disc. On the Kaito Disc, you will find Piapro Studio and the Mutant VST Plugin. To get Piapro to work, you must first install Studio 2, though having the VOCALOID 3 or 4 editor is preferable. Beginners can use him, but I'm a vocaloid intermediate user. It's difficult to edit Kaito's Straight voicebank. His English VB is understandable and slightly smooth, but he still has the Japanese accent, so he will not sound like a native speaker. Soft and Whisper are very easy to edit and are fine. When using his straight voicebank, the VB is excellent. However, I do not recommend Kaito's English VB for writing Rock songs. Overall, I believe this was an excellent purchase.

He isn't particularly versatile, but he excels at what he can do
4/5

The package was in excellent condition when it was delivered. Studio One (a Digital Audio Workstation) and the vst Piapro Studio are included in Kaito V3. His voicebanks can be used in Piapro Studio, but I strongly advise purchasing the V3/V4 editor first because I find it to be far more stable and user-friendly. br>br>Kaito V3 includes four voicebanks. His main voicebank includes "Whisper," "Soft," "English," and "Straight. " br>He is generally softer than his V1. In tone, it's higher and more nasally. His voicebanks are of good quality, but they aren't very versatile, and he has a very limited vocal range and is unable to sing high. Kaito V3 is best suited to soft ballad/rock music, but his Straight and English can also be used in pop. I like the tone of his Soft voicebank the best. Cross synthesizing his Soft and Straight voicebanks in the VOCALOID 4 editor can provide you with the best results. His English is a little strange at times, but it's one of the better English Vocaloid3 voicebanks available with some editing. Instead, I would recommend Gackpoid or VY2V3 if you want a more deep, solid, and masculine vocal. Overall, Kaito V3 can do the job, but due to his limitations, I wouldn't recommend him as your first Vocaloid.

I really like it! The item was delivered on time and in excellent condition
5/5

Thank you very much. The program's instructions are all in Japanese, but it can be installed in English in the majority of cases. Kaito's four voices are included: Studio One 2, Straight, Soft, Whisper, and English Piapro, and a Tiny Vocaloid 3 Editor are all included in the 5 Artist Edition. The only application that cannot be installed in English is Piapro. It is only available in Japanese. (You can, however, use the Tiny V3 Editor instead. ) ) Overall, I'm having a lot of fun with the program, and it's fully compatible with Windows 8.

It was a little disappointing
3/5

Don't get me wrong, I really like KAITO, but his V3 has a few flaws. I'll do my best to explain everything. br>br>After hearing that he had received an update, I was very interested in him, and his ability to communicate in English sounded like a plus. I thought his YouTube demos were also pretty good, and I was very excited when I first opened him (he arrived sooner than expected, by the way, indicating that the seller was not at fault). I believe he is very inexpensive for the amount of value he provides - I was surprised that instead of Vocaloid3, he came with a DAW (Studio One) and Piapro Studio to open him on. Because of Piapro Studio, I thought I'd be able to avoid using Vocaloid3 Editor for a while, but I was quickly proven wrong. br>br>I'm not sure how Piapro Studio worked on other people's computers, but it was buggy and would frequently crash while rendering or trying to open an English document. vsq. Editing was a chore in general on there. Those issues were, thankfully, resolved in the Vocaloid3 Editor. I'm glad they're trying to bundle more features with the Vocaloids, but I don't need Studio One right now because I already have FL Studio. I suppose it'd be useful if you didn't have access to a DAW, but as you'll see in this review, he's not the most user-friendly or best Vocaloid for beginners. br>br>Another problem I have is with my breaths. All you have to do to make other Vocaloids breathe is type "Br1", "Br2", and so on into the blocks. Isn't that the case? KAITO, on the other hand, does not share this sentiment. You must manually insert the into a DAW of your choice. In between KAITO's singing, put wav breath files on a separate track and render them all out at the same time. I attempted to do this with Studio One, but the quality was poor when exported. I have no idea what happened. In the future, I'll use FL Studio, but for the time being, KAITO can't even breathe in the songs I'm trying to use him in, which is a bad sign. The "Br1" method was by far my favorite. much less of a headache br>br>Installation was a bit of a pain, but I suppose that's to be expected given that the entire manual is written in Japanese and I only know a little of the language. But, thanks to the pictures inside, I was able to get it to work, and I was able to find another solution through Googling. Crypton can also be beneficial - I emailed them to inquire about how to remove KAITO V3 from my computer when I receive a new laptop and must transfer all of my programs, and they responded promptly and helpfully. By the way, Studio One, Piapro Studio, and Vocaloid3 can all be set in English, so you won't have to worry about that. br>br>Now, on to the voice. I'm not a pro Vocaloids user by any means, but I have worked with other Vocaloids before, and KAITO isn't as smooth as many of the other options. Straight is supposed to be his default and "most powerful" bank, but it has very little power and is probably the most breathy of them all. It also has a robotic sound to it, which I don't like when compared to other V3s (even those from earlier!). I'm interested in hearing any suggestions on how to get rid of it or improve his voice. br>br>Soft and Whisper are nearly interchangeable terms. Why does it make sense to have two banks that essentially do the same thing? They're fine (though I would have preferred a Power bank over Soft or something, as Straight isn't particularly powerful). In the same way as other soft or whispered sounds, y type banks should be reserved for soft music and the like, rather than being thrown onto any. vsq. Call me crazy, but I think I like his English append the best out of all of them; it's not as breathy as the Japanese ones, and while he does have an accent, I don't think it's too bad. My only complaint is that it has such a narrow frequency range that it can be difficult to get a good sound out of it at times. In general, I don't believe KAITO is suitable for newcomers. To summarize, I'd love to give KAITO 5 stars and a glowing review like some others have, but these issues are far too significant for me to overlook entirely. In short, I recommend using a V3 Editor with him rather than Piapro Studio (you'll need one anyway for your other Vocaloids), and - For me, I want to make original songs, so I can appreciate his English Append for what it is, but if that's not your cup of tea, I'm not sure the nearly $200 price tag is justified. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy this Append from time to time, and I intend to improve my Vocaloid skills in all areas, but if it weren't for the fact that I'm interested in writing original English songs and that I still like KAITO, this might not have been worth my time. The DAW he comes with is decent, but if you're just getting started with songs and really need one, he's not the easiest Vocaloid to use by a long shot.

The best vocal collection I've ever seen! This voice set is probably the most all-around you can get for the vocaloid 3 or 4 engine; while his English isn't bad, it does have the quirks that any bilingual vocaloid has, such as R and L being the same sound, but his issues can be worked out if you're willing to put in a little extra effort
5/5

It also includes Studio One and Piapro Studio, making it a fantastic starter package and the only crypton vocaloid worth purchasing.
