Questions & Answers

Is it compatible with the Macbook Pro from Apple?

Wave audio files are used in the recordings. If wave files aren't compatible with MAC computers, which I don't believe they are. On a different computer, you could convert the Magix DVD SPC 16 or any other wave files to apple loops (I believe AIFF format). However, from what I've heard, a 24 bit wave file is used for song mixdown (every track in the song is combined into one audio file) and then dithered down to 16 bits for CD burning. Take a look at what happens if you copy and play a wave file on your Mac computer. If you have the proper codecs installed on your system, a computer should be able to play any audio or video format, in my opinion.

Is it possible to use the sounds in a commercial video production (youtube with advertising) or do I need to pay a separate license fee?

A commercial-free version of Soundpool is included on the DVDs. take advantage of royalty-free Up to a DVD collection of 16 discs is included in the free license. br>Only noncommercial DVD collections 17 and up are available.

Very good product! The sound quality on the Magix Soundpool Dvd 16 is excellent
5/5

I also purchased the SP Dvd sample collection 15, which is available on DVD. My observations regarding SP 16 apply to SP 15. The amount of content in these products is the only thing I don't like about them. You might wonder how much content there is. True, there is approximately 7 gigabytes of content. How it works is as follows. Let's say I go to the chillout section pack and select acoustic guitar 1 from the list. That section will contain approximately 7 of those samples. However, both samples are nearly identical. They sound as if they were played at a different pitch than the rest of the music. It depends on the soundpool you have. There will most likely be another 5 or 6 sets of acoustic guitars, each with about 7 variations. The samples are once again excellent. However, instead of 7 or 8 variations of the same sound, I would have preferred 50 different music loops per instrument section. To put it another way. I can change the key of my digital audio workstation to any key I want. As a result, I prefer to use a variety of music loops to manipulate as I see fit. br>br>Overall, this soundpool pack, along with Dvd collection 15, contains a lot of good stuff. The drum samples are suitable for a wide range of musical styles. One of my songs has already been embellished with guitar, bass, piano, and two vocals. Those five samples gave my song a quality it didn't have before, and they really brought it to life. Finally, I'll say goodbye. The Soundpool Dvd collections 15 and 16 are well worth the money, with samples from one genre blending in nicely with samples from other genres. In the past, I've heard jazz musicians use scat singing or improvised singing. I couldn't believe how well that kind of vocal worked with a rock song. So, if you want to give your music a little more class. Getting the Magix Dvd 15 and 16 Soundpools isn't a bad idea either.

You should purchase as many sound pools as possible. They're all well worth your time and money. At this point, I have at least 50 gigabytes of sound pools. I really like this one! There are a lot of good loops here!.

Very good
4/5

It took some tinkering to get it to work on Windows 10 (it's still the same issue with software for older versions of Windows), but it's now up and running.

The more syllables there are in a sentence, the better

I've been using Magix for a long time and they've never let me down. Any library or catalog would benefit from having this book in it.

assisting others One of the most important lessons I've learned in life is that you are either a part of the problem or a part of the solution

Two, you can give a man a fish and feed him for a day OR you can teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime. I've given a lot of these books to the juvenile court for the councilors, and I've taken some to prisons where only two things should be allowed in their cells: a Bible and an occupational handbook. They will be unable to complane after seeing this. I've helped God and humanity in some way.

Be cautious, professionals
3/5

All of the Soundpool DVDs are great sources of loops and samples, and they're organized by "genre" and then by "variations. " The recordings are good, the loop variations are reasonable, they work in most modern DAWs, and you can usually find a useful riff or two for your composition. br>br>However, if you make music that generates or may generate revenue in any way, be cautious. You must read and agree to the license agreement that comes with each package. It expressly forbids *any* commercial use beginning with Soundpool 17. You can purchase more expensive packages that allow you to reach increasingly larger audiences, such as 1 or 5 TV broadcasts, or a set number of page views. either views or downloads br>br>Soundpool 16 appears to be the same as the previous one, which was labeled "Royalty-Free. " Free". That's crucial, because even the previous (1-) Unless you have written permission from the company or if their package or label says "Royalty-Free," the 16) license prohibits all commercial use (anything that could bring you money). "FREE" AND the Magix logo is prominently displayed on *your* packaging/label (for example, on your CD). If you don't display the ugly logo, you'll lose your license agreement, and if you use sounds from a Soundpool collection that isn't labeled "royalty-free," you'll be charged royalties. "free" (what, you lost your box and the originals? ), and you might fall through the cracks and end up in H. (Let's start a long legal battle here. ) Remember when The Verve lost all of their royalties from "Bittersweet Symphony?" br>br>Even if you purchase the "unlimited" license, you will always be barred from using the content "in an insulting, denigrating, or other illicit manner," or "in the context of or as a part of a brand, business term, or other commercial entity. " It's up to the Germans to be exact. Isn't that supposed to include rap, comedy, commercials, and other forms of entertainment? br>br>If you're only going to play your (polite) productions for pets, family, and friends for free, you'll be fine; however, if your piece is too ironic, goes viral, or hits the charts, you'll have to scramble; ) Examine the Magix license for your package to ensure you understand everything it says. These Soundpools are akin to Limited Edition software in that they are only available in a limited number of copies. For the kids, this is a fantastic deal.
