This program saved me a great deal of time and aggravation. I simply inserted the CD into the drive, launched the program, and it took care of the rest, allowing me to transfer all of my music to my iPod that was previously unavailable in my iTunes library with a single click. I bought this product because I needed to create a new library after purchasing a new computer. This is a product that I would recommend to everyone. I read about all these complicated methods for reversing music placement, but they caused more problems than they solved. Also, I have Windows 7, and a previous product that I purchased did not work with this new operating system.
It was a waste of time, so I returned it and received a refund.
When I first got this, I was able to easily transfer music from my old iPod (1st generation nano) to my old computer. Then I tried it again when I got a new iPod (3rd generation nano) and a new computer. It wasn't detecting the iPod at all, and it was significantly slowing down my computer; it's a little wonky, and it takes a lot of fiddling and trying different things to figure out. And it should work after a few hours, though most people don't have that kind of time; I gave it four stars because it's a great program once you get it to work. Everything is restored, including album covers and song titles!.
Okay, so I didn't read the reviews before buying this product. When I first got the item, I was annoyed because it didn't recognize my iPod. I followed Apple's instructions for enabling the disk option on my computer, but it still didn't recognize my iPod. I was about to trash the software when I discovered that there is a free update that allows the ipod to sync with newer versions of iTunes, as the software only works with older versions like 4. 1 or something like that. The website for downloading the patch is straightforward; all you have to do is click next and accept the terms and conditions. To make things easier, I'll give you the link to the website.
[. ]br>I hope this helps you all because I know the previous reviews were all negative, so I am the first to write a positive review, but it is a cheap and simple program to use.
If you can get it to recognize your iPod, I'm sure it works; however, there appears to be a general issue with this program not recognizing iPods (ummmm. Isn't that the most important thing to remember? ) Don't throw your money away. br>br>At the very least, I'll avoid Tune Tools, which appears to be ValueSoft's next attempt to defraud you.

The product that was delivered would not even boot up on an Intel Mac Pro. After exchanging several emails with the company, they agreed that there was a problem and sent me a newer disk that was upgraded to work with Intel Mac Pros.
